I will remember the stay in Wild Flower Retreat for excellent location, it's ambience, its neatness and food and will recommend Wild Flower Retreat to everyone I know...food is excellent, behavior of the host is very friendly and helpful and location is wonderful...my stay was very peaceful and fulfilling. Must stay for everyone who loves nature, tranquility and quality time with family.
Our experience is special because it was a time when parts of Sikkim were hit by a cloud burst, and the roads were damaged. Yet, this place gave us a comfortable and safe stay. Dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious.
The location of the hotel is excellent, the restaurant in the hotel serves delicious food with a good selection of dishes. The restaurant staff is also attentive and accommodating. Overall, this retreat is highly recommended for its excellent location, comfortable rooms, cleanliness, facilities, and good food. The staff is also friendly and helpful, making your stay a truly memorable one.
Very beautiful property with most kind and hospitable owners, who will treat you like family. Great food homely cooked, extremely peaceful stay with beautiful views of snow capped mountains.
We are so glad we found this place after the relentless noise and hustle and bustle of Indian cities this is a Wonderful peaceful place and a bird lover's paradise. The scenery is out of this world with amazing views of the mountains and the lush green deep valley. The roads are so quiet it's like you are on a hiking trail. We walked down to the hanging bridge 5km away and only saw 5 cars pass us on the road. This place is a must for nature lovers! The cabin itself is great with many windows, a balcony at the back and your own little private garden at the front complete with table and chairs. Last but not least the food here is great!
We stayed 4 nights in Wild Flower Retreat in May 2023 - in standard double rooms 2k per night double occupancy. we contacted hotel before booking online & got little discount. I had read some bad reviews but the hotel, room, toilet, food etc - exceeded my expectation. We could see the hills lying in bed & Mount Pandim when no clouds. Staff were friendly & cooperative. The resort was closed during Covid & reopened after some renovation & probably management change. I feel this place is by far the most comfortable stay in Borong - others are homestays, though should be equally hospitable. Borong itself is a village - we met no other tourists except those few in our hotel, practically no shops & one small unmarked eating place (we did not try). Our stay consisted of lazy breakfasts & meals (food was reasonably priced, quite ok), & long walks along village roads with great views of green hills & when lucky, snowcapped Mt Pandim. Do not expect prompt room service or early morning tea etc - service is like the place, good but relaxed. Note down food taken - in my case they under-billed.
Beautiful place. Stayed in one of their cottages. It was super spacious. Washroom was also big. Staffs were very helpful, especially a lady named Pavitra she helped us a lot. She took the extra steps which are mostly missed by other hotel staffs. She took us as her family and solved any issues that we had.. Food was absolutely delicious, they cooked local food for us also. Didnt hear them saying 'no' for anything which we wanted. Lovely experience would love to visit there again and again.!
We booked orchid from 11th to 13th March. The hotel is self sufficient and kids friendly. The 4 bedded cottage was beautiful with 2 rooms, 1 dining room, 1 toilet and 1 balcony. Rooms and toilet are clean with enough plug points. In the evening you need to close the doors and windows in order to avoid insects. You do not need to visit anywhere else, just eat, drink and relax here. The garden is beautiful. You do not need packaged drinking water here as the water is good for digestion and not like Darjeeling side. It takes around 5 hours from Siliguri. The road is superb till Ravangla. The road is under construction from Ravangla to Borong and hence tough and bumpy. Due to remote location, food is costly here but everything is organic and veg thali was superb. The masala after meals tastes good. They should cut down on oil for chicken, egg and paneer curry. Good hospitality and my 3year old was very happy there and enjoyed herself with the swing and a pet puppy. The pet dogs are also very friendly and cute. The weather is unpredictable here but if you are lucky the view with snow-capped mountains is magnificient. Overall great experience. The owner has good asthetic sense.

Excellent place to eat. You can have good food at affordable cost. I ordered momos, chowmin, fried rice, chilli pork. All items were good. They don't overcook or over spice their food. Food: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 Value for money: 4.5/5
