Whitehouse Resort Kotagiri - Resort hotel in Kotagiri - The Nilgiris, India

We a group of 25 friends have stayed for a weekend. Property was situated nearby to the Kotagiri city centre. Shops are nearby even if you want to buy something. But outside foods are not allowed inside the property. You can buy snacks if you want to. Superb parking space can take above 10 cars inside the property with safety. Rooms are well maintained with two big suits. Plenty of extra beds, pillows, rasais. Rooms are well maintained, cleaned. A decent lawn space. All the rooms have balcony for a nice hill view experience. Food was good. Staffs are polite and attentive always. It's a home feel type individual bungalow. Overall all are happy, nice property and recommendable.

I have stayed in many hotels and resorts but this was the worst experience of my life. This is not a resort, it's just a home stay. Who the hell calls this a resort? I was there with my family and I recommend everyone please don't come here with family because it's not safe. There is a manager named Rajan, he is the owner's father and he treats consumers like enemies and his character is rude. He behaves like a hostel Warden. The rooms are very expensive and there is no drinking water in the room, no coffee maker or kettle. I don't know why they charge too high prices. There is no guest other than me because everyone knows the service. They do not allow outside food and they close the gate at 8pm. After 8 p.m. it is no longer possible to leave the room. I suggest that the government should ban these types of resorts. The Rajan is too terrible. Note. I request all my enemies should visit this place.

Room was really good. The view from the room was amazing. The location was isolated from the city centre. We had to travel few mins to buy any basic amenities. Food provided was good, but was overpriced

This is the best resort at kothagiri with breathtaking view... Each rooms have seperate balcony where u will see plainsview of metupalayam.. And home style food and service is just awesome... Staffs are very friendly Manager rajan was very polite and treat us like family people over all... It's amazing place to stay....

Just awesome.. Their service is one of the best.. The food was also amazing.. might be a little pricey, but worth it!!

Excellent place to spend time. Rajkumar sir was very humble.and their cook Chandru cooks very tasty

It's a pleasant location and neat, clean and compact rooms to stay with homely food. We were 13 from family and stayed 2 nights. Place is away from city and privacy with serene, beautiful views from the room balcony. They take care well the elders and kids provided enough support as timely food and hot water etc. They prepared us the food when we need, and we got a hot food direct from their kitchen even they prefer to serve that way for best customer experience. We have not called them not even for any things, everything was available in the room and toilet like home. Highly satisfied and keep my visit here

The staff and management is what makes it even more worth going. Very clean and a beautiful space, view is great. A must go!!
