I stayed for two nights at White Sand in a tent. Overall it's a nice place and simple, but well maintained. The owners and staff are very helpful and friendly. They have a restaurant which is a good place to hang out and the access to the river is also really nice. What I did not like is how they were constantly trying to sell additional services, e.g. me making clear that I want to take a bus to the place and they still sending a Tuktuk to pick me up. Also, there is music constantly playing from early morning till late night.
Best place in Hampi. The team here are super friendly and made a huge effort to make us feel welcome and relaxed. Cute simple huts have everything you need, and it only takes a few steps to get down to the river. No gimmicks, just good vibes.
Service nice but needs some improvement. As very early morning there was no water in the wash room and no one was there to take care of it. As we needed to go out for the Human temple visit very early in the morning but as there was no water we had to cancel. Other than that it was a very chilled place and the ambiance was great.
The staff is friendly but the owner Ganesh is very rude and arrogant. Very disrespectful to guests. They treat Indians very rudely and mostly cater to foreign tourists. The location is great, very close to the river but the treatment to guests by the owner has made me not to visit this place ever again. I had visited them during 30th September.
One of the best cafe around town!! call it during sunrise sunset or mid day swim at there backyard waterfalls...White sand got you the best of Hampi experience.
I had a real good time here, the owner is chilled, honest and clear, the place is chilled, friendly, the rooms are clean and nice! I can recommend it inn any case!

We stayed at 3 places in hampi, and this was by far our favorite. Originally, we came in because he music was good. We ended up booking here because he food was good. The room was the only room we've had with hot water for days. They have nice swings
I had been to this place(though not stayed) after checking out some good reviews on TripAdvisor. It was the best ambience. Might be coz of off season there weren't much visitors. Also, it's a bit far - 4km from hippie island.
If you want to party in hampi then hippie island is a right place for it. This place is surrounded by green fields, hills and river on the other side. Here stay is cheaper but food is costly contrary to the other side of the river.
One of the best places to find cheapest food and Thimma is a friendly person too. The food quantity and quality is great. I'd recommend everyone to eat here if you're in Sanapur
