White luxe homestay - Home Stay in Ponnampet, Begur - Kodagu, India

A modern building with multiple rooms. Hot water for bath was an issue as it was rainy day and solar dependant. Had to take cold shower. One guy runs around for everything. Food was ok. We went there as a group. We were told rate include all meals. But, we were charged separately for lunch and snacks (dinner starters). Get their commitment in writing to avoid such a situation. The river on the side of property is private and good.

We had a worst experience opting for this resort. we had booked the resort more than 1 month ago by paying the advance amount. But at the last moment 1 day before the resort keeper cancelled our booking stating that there was local political issue. Inspite of cancelling the resort booking from his end, he was not repaying the advance back. Now he is not picking up the call as well inspite of calling multiple times. While booking he spoke sweet words and calls again and again to get the booking but once booking happened now he isn't picking up the calls. This resort is not trust worthy, their communication is worst. Kindly don't Opt for this resort and get cheated

Last week stayed (20/05/33) in white luxe with 15 members ,this was my most horror & worst experience in a homestay so far I stayed in my life it is very interior,where it takes more than 30 mins from main road ,my humble request if you are travelling with family or elderly people you are taking chance of their life as I have experienced with no proper water supply,no power supply @ night 2 ,complete shut down in haunted homestay with no proper backup & the incharge will collect the entire money before you complete your stay as he is aware you won't pay entirely after your stay,for bachelors it will be fine as itself a adventure in staying white luxe. I do request the homestay atleast provide 2 fans in a room, as you are accommodating 4 persons (I.e) 2 cot in each room where its suffocating especially during summer.

Google location is wrong. We wasted an hour searching for the place and the ppl from the home stay were not really helpful. Pls make sure you talk to them beforehand and get the right location. Otherwise you will be wasting half a day.

We were 33 members in the group. The place is highly recommended because 1 . Cleanliness 2. Spacious 3. Quality food 4. Location 5. Accessibility of river and waterfall 6. Flexibility of check in and check out 7. Cooperative host 8. Clear communication 9. Good service.

The white luxe is located in the midst of forest area and coffee plantation. (Ideal for big group5+) The care takers are very humble and friendly. Food was really really good. especially Pork items was damn delicious. Food options had veg and non veg both. we need to request them if u need anything specific and it will be done. two beautiful river stream just beside the stay. (one is close by and other one is 2 km away but the trek to that water falls is beautiful, as we get to witness coffee plantations and forest both routes).This property is very very big and it needs slight maintenance. Else it would be a 5 star from me. 2 Aug 2022.

We were a team of 10 on an official funded outing. One of my friend at Virajpet had recommended and they delivered beyond my expectations. Communication - was very clear and the host available all the time to answer any queries. Food - on top of the world, yummiest food ever. Was very very well cooked. Infact everything we ordered was out of the world. Rooms - spacious and clean. Bonfire was the best during the night. River by the side is must to take a dip. Would strongly recommend this place. Thank you team for making our stay the most memorable.
