We stayed at the white Lotus hotel for 2 days in Udupi. Here are the pros and cons of our stay. Pros: 1. The room is clean and spacious. 2. The location is prime, you will be near the Krishna temple and many shopping malls. 3. They have an in-house restaurant which is good for ordering room service. 4. They provide a laundry facility which is helpful. 5. Room service is up to the mark Cons: 1. They do not provide arrangements for the driver. We travelled to many hotels and most of the 3 star hotels provide accommodation for the drivers, in this hotel we needed to arrange it ourselves. 2. The complementary breakfast is below average, the items they have are mostly north Indian and though they have a good spread, the taste is bland. (Point to note is that the room service taste of the food is good)
It is the most perfect hotel I have ever stayed in. Considering the price point, it is a steal. Their service is 5-star level. Everyone is polite and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay there if I visit Udupi again. The breakfast buffet was very yummy.

Perfect hotel in the heart of the city with proximity to Krishna temple and shopping malls. Malpe beach is also a 20 min drive. Hotel rooms were very good, twin rooms are a bit small but justify the price, deluxe and superior rooms are nice and huge. Room service, housekeeping, restaurants are also very good. We checked in around 3.10 pm and he kitchen was closed but they were very kind to accomodate one last lunch order for us. Very thankful for this gesture. Breakfast spread is also worth mentioning. Sheera was my favourite. To conclude, it's a very good hotel in terms of all aspects. Geethanjali silks is just a few meters away and Jayalakshmi silks less than a km. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location is lovely, overlooking the lake with a lot of nice facilities for families. The rooms are spacious and clean however a new set of rooms being built might obstruct some of the view. The Indian food is ok but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The staff is helpful but not trained well enough. Also most of the staff is not local so is totally unaware of local attractions. No Ola or Uber services but the local taxis are reasonable and helpful. Uber does ply from Pune to the location but coming back has to be arranged locally. Own vehicle recommended.
We had an excellent time and experience here in this Hotel! Great hospitality, friendly staffs. They are very much flexible and understanding in terms of anything. We had to check out by 12 pm, but due to some issues with our travel consequences we were late by 2 hours and they adjusted accordingly. Kudos to the team - Navya , Rajesh and Pritheesh amazing service. Behind every exceptional service there is one flaw that is PRICE, rest all was splendid. They also have delicious restaurant must try!! Mathuram and Malika.
The rooms are good and grandly made and kept neat and tidy... The valet service is also pretty good but in the rush hour they tend to get a little late but I don't blame them... They have to tend to every customer equally right... Overall pretty good
