Definitely recommending staying here ! The hostel is at good location . The ambience was quite comforting. They even allow to cook anything in their kitchen . If you are a person looking for a calming vibe , you can go to rooftop. The staff ( uncle ) and the host are very caring and make me feel like home . They even let me stay at common place before check in and after check out for which I am really thankful to them
Rooms were really nice, we had a great experience . Staff were really cool, one thing they can improve is to clean kitchen area except this ,all things were good.. location is perfect and rooftop is amazing to have a nice view over all.
Had an amazing time at this hostel! Its location is its best feature--situated very close to most of the tourist attractions. Hospitality is truly welcoming. Ajay (frontdesk), and Himmatji (housekeeper) are kind and friendly. The only 3 minor cons, of this place are: * Rooftop: Although it is a quiet place with a breathtaking view, it's the 5th floor. Can get too tiring if you're staying on the ground or first floor. * Breakfast: The timing is only 8 AM to 10 AM. Post 10, you're on your own. * Facilities: Some facilities--like a bulb or exhaust fan don't work in some rooms. Speaking of which, the private rooms are too small compared to the dorms. It can be quite confusing to locate the property as a new visitor.
I loved my stay at Whereabout Hostel a lot. My friend and I stayed a week in the 4 bed dorm. The staff is helpful and kind, and there's a guy cleaning the property every day. Breakfast is included which is toast with butter, jam and banana as well as aloo paratha-style-toast and coffee. It has a quite nice rooftop with a great view of the City and a lake as well. The Backyard Cafe just across the street is also a very good place to have a coffee or breakfast right by the lake and enjoy some peace and quiet. I recoment this hostel to you :)

Had an amazing experience staying at Whereabout. I was in a 4 bed dorm. Though the rooms were a little too small, that was not a problem for any (me and my friends) of us. The common area was a great place to be. There were a lot of card games, carrom, foosball (didn't have a ball though), guitar (string broken), carrom etc. The view from the terrace was amazing. The place offered free breakfast but we had a bad experience with it. The boiled eggs were smelling pungent. The utensils were not very clean. You don't need to get any bike rentals or something. There are facilities for the same at the hostel itself. Also, they take care of activities like cooking classes and all (can't say much about these as we did not participate). The location is really a plus point. Major tourist places are within 1-2 kilometers from the hostel. The host is really a nice person and allowed us to stay in the common area even after our checkout till evening (this is subject to availability, please don't rely on this).
Nice place at nice location, major city tourist attraction is nearby and also have access to all kind of local delicacy. The host is supportive and guide you with activities and timings. Overall nice stay and would recommend
