West View - Resort hotel in Ranikhet, Ranikhet Range - Almora, India

This is a great heritage hotel, surrounded by deodar and pine forests, in the cantonment area. The peaceful Raj-era ambience seems to suggest that time stands still here. The lounge and dining hall are tastefully decorated with period furnishing, while our room , with high ceiling and a fireplace , transported us back in time. Our stay here included breakfast and dinner which were inspiring. The hotel staff were very helpful. Special mention must be made of the manager who offered us a late check-out on the day of our departure. We shall certainly be back to this hotel in any future trip to Ranikhet.

It is very well preserved pieces from the history. This vintage property was built in late 19th century. It has too much open area to rome around and explore. It is truly photogenic place. They have grand dining area, bed rooms with antique pieces of furniture and century old architectural walls. It is just a photographers paradise property. Rooms have some nostalgia painting and quaint articles they are well mentained however lacks morden facilities such as limited charging points for your multiple devices. Rooms are comfortable is size with some good outdoor spaces. From outdoor sittings, you can enjoy morning coffee with a great valley view. Service Hotel is being managed by local staff and they were too much polite and welcoming in nature. They guide you with great participation. Food we ordered was already included in our plan, but it was very delicious and wholesome in qualities. Quality was also quite good. We enjoyed our meal. I wish we had stayed there for one more day and really enjoyed the property and the food. Location It is located few kilometres away the mall road in the silent portion of the woods however just on the main road. I will definitely visit again if I get a chance to.

One of the best views from this hotel. A quaint heritage hotel, with great team and good buffet food. For kids, badminton court and swings are a bonus! Great experience! Just buy what you may need for your own eating / drinks etc as the market is about 4 kms away.

Lovely restaurant. We had snacks while visiting chaubatia garden and jhula temple . They have nice garden with beautiful flowers . My kid enjoyed the outdoors .

A heavenly spot nestled in the Himalayas jungle. A step back in time. Very peaceful. The hospitality and food is second to none. Can't wait to go back

Great shout-out to the so helpfull, kind and well and nice behaving staff with special reference to Mr. Prem Singh he served us so well, always assuming his responsibility to assist in anyway possible. The people in the buffet are the same as mentioned above in the starting. Luxurious experience. Like 5 star hotels. But the prices are within budget of 7k.

This is the place to be in Ranikhet. We did a group retreat for 30 people and the staff fulfilled all our requests with such grace. Felt like home away from home. The property is beautiful. The rooms very spacious and comfortable. The food is excellent - especially the pahadi food they make. Surrounded by great walks for bird watching. Will go back. Big thanks to the full team there!

The hotel was really good, very nice staff location is mind blowing. The room and washroom was very clean and sanitized. They have very big car parking good spacious rooms and a very big garden area where you can enjoy your morning/evening tea. Overall it was an nice experience.
