Easy from the madurai railway station side to walk through this tower. Left and right you can see many shops like flowers and coconut etc useful for the darshan of Meenakshi Amman. Mobile phones not available inside. Few tiffin shops available for the breakfast nearby. Walk-way to this West tower should have been maintained well. But Inside and near the temple premises it was clean and neat.
The second oldest tower among the four outer towers . This has some intricate sculptures. South tower is better that this one.
