I had a delightful stay at Welcome Hotel in Srinagar. The location is prime, right opposite the beautiful Dal Lake. What truly stood out was the warm hospitality. The manager, Imtiaz, was exceptional and so humble to us. A special shoutout to all the staff for treating us so well and making us feel special . The food was so good. Highly recommended for a genuine and wonderful person experience! A must visit place !!

We stayed at this hotel during May and had one of the worst experiences. For the price we booked we could have got a luxury hotel but we chose this due to its location near dal lake. Whatever it advertises is fake. The rooms are dirty. Bathroom smells and has leaky basins. Room service is awful. Our bed had stains. When I asked the room service to change the sheets and pillow covers, room service guy started arguing for 10 minutes as to why the stains were from the chemicals they use for washing and not from previous guests. I travel a lot and have stayed in numerous hotels. But this one blew my mind on how someone can arrange a room for tourists that smells and has dirt and dust all over the place. Its disgusting.

Hospitality at it's best. Humble spread for breakfast and delicious food for lunch. The rooms are extremely clean and well equipped with all the necessities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were so accommodating. Especially Mumtaz Sir who went above and beyond to help. Must Visit

Place was neat..reception is beautiful. Can get good pics. View will b dal lake. Lift and buffet facility is there..fair enough buffet for the money..but there are many food restaurants outside also. If travelling with kids better to opt for buffet food. Service was very responsive. Rooms were a bit old and not very spacious. Overall good

Location is great. Exteriors are quite professional but interior (read : cleanliness) is pathetic. I have stayed in hotels with price ranging from Rs500 to Rs50000 per night. But our room had the one of the worst bathrooms amongst them all. Even cleaning by housekeeping was quite poor. The good thing was that after complaining at least they cleaned a bit. But still my kids just didn't have a bath even after that. So certainly not the best choice to go to if with your family.

Great location on Dal Lake road. Beautiful view from hotel. I will give 5 stars for room service guys, food is good, Resturant ambience is super. Over all super but I'm reducing one star for hotel room furniture, which is very old , all the wood and cupboards are very old, hinges are loose, bathroom doors are spoiled. Can be improved. But great stay. Highly recommended hotel.

I visit Srinagar in August 2023, hotel is situated on the bank of DAL beautiful location. Rooms are spacious but needed AC. Food was excellent, Service was excellent. I would like to thank Mr. Sahil who have take care us in each aspect. Thanks welcome and Sahil

Stay here for location. Bang opposite Dal Lake and on main boulevard road. The hotel is quiet old and hence rooms will feel old too. There are no ACs ok in the hotel. Service is okish. We had breakfast a couple of times there and found it very average. Looking at Kashmir's hotel prices this can be a good mid range option if you want to stay opposite Dal Lake.
