The main highlight of this so-called "Dhaba" is that it is located on the banks of river sindh. And, due to this, it looks magnificent and so serene that one wishes to be there forever. The seating arrangement is very well placed. Cleanliness needs to be taken care of, and the taste of some dishes is not as good as it's famous Aloo Paratha. This waterfall dhaba is just 10 km away from the main town beehama, located now on the right side of newly constructed Wayil bridge funded by world bank. The night time scenery there is really out of the world experience. Besides everything, few things that are the highlights of this dhaba, is. 1. Free parking. 2. Nice scenic view of Nallah Sindh. 3. Nice seating arrangement and lighting also. 4. Great customer service and atmosphere.
Very serene place, full of peace & in close proximity to nature. We relished food & it was lip smacking. The best part is that owner went to each table & took the feedback about food. He was very polite & it seemed he served food with purity. Nearby Sind River was flowing & was making it a perfect place for outing & picnic.
Place where price of food is kept high in order to loot tourists. This place offers spectacular view of river Indus and we can go near it's bank and spend time. Food is just average.
Its a not bad place to have tea or food. Its near to the Wayil bridge and has a water stream where you can get down, and have fun. The water current was strong when we went. There is a bridge through which you can get down to the water stream.
The view is breathtaking, Menu options are limited. Absence of tourists is killing this beautiful place like other small restaurants of the area. If you want to spend some quality time in lap of Mother nature, this is place for you. Parking available.
The major USP of this restaurant is that it's located on the bank of river Sindh in Ganderbal. You can eat with a view. Food is average. Prefer eating Desi food like rajma, dal, roti, rice, mix veg, paneer, dum aloo (very good). I have ordered fast food a few times but that was not upto the mark. Thali is good too. They have washroom facilities, but do not expect a very good one. It's hygienic though. Tea is average. So if you are travelling to Sonamarg or back to Srinagar via this route, it's a fine place to take a break. Food - 3.5/5 Location - 5/5 Washroom - 3/5 Tea - 4/5 Service - 4/5
I have been 10-20 times to this place. The food keeps getting worse everytime. Last time i ordered 'chola-puri' and it had a stone bigger than a chickpea, in it. 2 starts are for the view. Now i just go there, order a cup of tea (not worth 30Rs) sit by the sindh river.
A good place to relax before or after a long drive. The restuarant serves good food.
