Calm and quiet place in afternoon don't know about evening time. As the name specifies there we can walk through the lane for a long. There are so many benches, which is faces to the sea. Sitting is a shades of tree and watching the sea is a mesmerizing moments. In the entrance a park is there, where kids can enjoy. Parking is also good. Opposite to this there are shops which sells icecreams, cool drinks, snacks, etc
What a horrible experience i had yesterday(26.08.2018). My family and me went to Mahe park, and after spending almost 2hrs there. We decide to have some food from the nearest hotel. We went to this hotel and Everything was horrible here. We sit in the AC room upstairs and both two AC is not working there.And one fan also not working. We were very tired so we try to adjust with that. And after waiting for a 15min there the waiter finally show up. And we order some shakes and Shawarma for me my cousin ordered beef roast and paratha. Then again we waited for 35 min to have it in our table.At that time one couple near to our table finished their food and they went out. No one comes to clean that table till we left our table!!!!! Friends, in one word everything was so horrible there. For God's sake Never visit there my friends.I'm even regretting to give them that single star. THEY DON'T GIVE ME TOMATO KETCH FOR SHAWARMA!!!!!!!! Even small hotel in vadakara gives ketch with just puffs. I wasted my 100 Rs on that shawarma. i will write the issues i faced in points so that you can easily read it. 1. No AC is working in the "Ac room". 2. Very delay in taking order as well as serving food. 3. Tables are not cleaned properly 4. THERE IS NO KETCHUP WITH SHAWARMA..AND Shwarma was not edible. It is somthing with out any smell or any taste.!!! 5. The water glass are broken!!! 6. Butter shake is "Bitter shake" 7.PLASTIC STRAWS My cousin said to me, only the good thing we find there good is Beef roast.Sadly i order for shawarma. :( So please guys don't visit here,and thank me later. If you think i'm fake, i will attach all the photos i took yesterday.
Very nice I ate a ghee rice with fish masala that's the best thing I have ever ate and also they have milkshakes and many more things this is must eat hotel.Dont listen to other reviews you go and eat when you come back you have a happy feeling
Good place with food at reasonable rate. Tried the egg samosa, parotta, appam peas curry. Taste was average. Price is very cheap. Good place to eat if your near tagore park.

Opposite Mahe river side walkway entrance gate. A small restaurant with average atmosphere. Pepper chicken is a spicy and tasty one but less quantity. Porotta is average taste and small one. There are lots of birds stay on trees in front of the restaurant, be careful they haven't wear snuggy.
