Varun ji is a very knowledgeable guide. He makes sure that the tourist takes away a rich part of the culture home with him. His tour is replete of historical factoids and anecdotes. I was highly impressed and would certainly recommend him to anyone looking out for a tour. Apart from the blue City walk he does a lot of tours across the city/state so do hit him up when in Jodhpur.
We had a wonderful morning in the company of Tarun. He is a such nice guy and guide! He has a huge knowledge about the city, culture and customs, and everything! I did lots of questions and I loved to hear every single story. It was a nice walk through the blue city and the fort and I highly recommend this guided tour! Tarun gave us an amazing tour of Jodhpur! He's super knowledgeable, friendly and knows all the best spots for photos. He's a Jodhpur local so you get a sense of what the city is really like to live in. We highly recommend this tour, especially in your first couple of days in Jodhpur so you get your bearings.
We had the best tour with Tarun this afternoon. He is a great guide, and can tell in depth about the culture and history of his city and country. We asked many questions and he was very honest and intelligent. The time flew by. We can not recommend him enough.
Tarun is a very informed, polite and non pushy person who lets the tourist explore at her/his own pace. He will only make a shopping suggestion if asked and did not even once exert any pressure on us for anything . he also made us taste some excellent sweets in the old city. His knowledge of both the fort and the old city and its bylanes is extremely good and sophisticated and I have no hesitation at all in reccomending his services when you are in Jodhpur or in any Rajasthan city
