Good authentic Mughal cuisine taste . Chicken biryani is good. Lot's of chicken peices in just half a plate of 110/- bux.
The place is supposed to be iconic but their biryani tasted just ok. The cook on the mutton was excellent and the pricing is super affordable. However, the biryani was very oily, average taste and the curd in the raita was rancid. I don't recommend..

Lucknow is famous for its Biriyani and Wahid Biriyani is one of them. We had had the Biriyani and it was really awesome. The quantity was so good, and the rice quality was really fantastic. There were almost 3-4 pices of mutton and size was quite good. The ambiance was good and highly recommended if you are the biriyani lover.

Tried the chicken biryani (mutton wasn't available), mutton kaleji and fried chicken. Though this place is very small with limited seating arrangement bang in the middle of the bustling Aminabad market but the food is just amazing. Biryani is light and fluffy and extremely flavourful. Chicken fry was just perfectly done and not overdone which is what you get in most of the places. Overall a 5* from me and a must try place whenever you are in Lucknow.
Wahid Biryani is a well known restaurant situated just next to the Tundey Kebabs in Aminabad Market old Nazirabad Road. This is a small restaurant with limited seating arrangement and a limited dishes menu. I've eaten their biryani both mutton and chicken earlier, but this time when I went there I tried their Boti Kebab. Believe me this dish the Chicken Boti kebab took my heart away, I was surprised that I hadn't tried this heavenly dish before. Boti kebabs being my all time favourite whenever I visit lucknow in future Wahid Biryani Aminabad becomes a must visit restaurant for me, Boti kebab will be my first priority after that their delicious Biryani. The manager of this outlet is very humble He looks out personally for the customers needs and tries his best to serve the best. He told me that they are planning to open one outlet in Delhi. I'm eagerly waiting for their branch in Delhi.
