Wah-Kaba Falls - Featured Reviews (1904)
It's a marvelous trek with many falls of same water. It also has a long Bamboo bridge leading to natural spring water which is refreshing, don't forget to fill in your water bottles. It also have a lovely view point.
Beautiful waterfalls. I have just visited the waterfall two days ago. Since rainy season has over there was less water but the view was fantastic. Recommend.
To visit Wah-Kaba Falls, there is an entry point and you have to pay for the entry.
A few days back we visited there.
At first, we had to track down toward falls. There are several viewpoints on the way to the falls.
As we went there in the monsoon, we got the opportunity to witness its full-fledged water flow.
Apart from the view of the waterfall, we got a great view of the horizon.
Deep green hills beneath the sky and clouds were floating and touching them. Also got a great view of Bangladesh at the end of the horizon.
Beautiful plunge waterfall, we visited it during rainfall (could hardly get out of the car) and it was a feast to the eyes. It was totally worth getting out of the car and getting half drenched!! However, couldn't go down near the falls in that bad weather.
The view is dangerous in monsoon season and when we trek down there, no one is there. This is a road side fall of Cherrapunji, and you need to trek down a good distance to see the actuall fall. In monsoon season, the water level is so high, and we have seen a cloudy weather all over there. There are some stages in the fall and you need to trek down a well distance to reach the lower portion.

Meghalaya is full of beautiful waterfalls
It is not possible to cover all the falls in a single visit so tried as much as possible
Wah kaba is another one which mesmerized us with it's beauty
We went to the top from where it is falling and enjoyed beautiful time there
And witnessed beautiful sunset while returning from it
It is one of the waterfalls that we encountered on our way towards Cherrapunji. We have to go down a few steps like 2 kilometres to see the waterfall but the view there was magnificent. The water was crystal clear and not many people were there so we had taken some quite good photos. One should be careful while going down the steps as they were not proper stairs but rocks laid down to make them. In the monsoon season the steps becomes slippery and the water level also rises so people should be careful while going up or down the hill. The entry was just rupees 30 which is quite economical I would say and the place had proper parking facilities.
This is the most beautiful trek in Meghalaya. Trust me it's 13 km trek and you should be fit to do it as it takes a lot of energy. The view directs starting with double decker living bridge then a live swimming pool and then this view of rainbow wate
This was my second visit to Wei Sawdong falls today, but sadly this falls has been closed by the local police due to some land disputes, that the local passersby informed. This is a breath taking piece of nature, where the water cascades over four la
The layered Lyngksiar surging and plunging down the rocks through the green valley was as picture-perfect as you can imagine. This waterfall has two views, one at the mouth and the other at the bottom. Lyngksiar was just too beautiful for words. I co

Good view of Bangladesh plains from this site. Also visible is a giant hanging rock resembling a Shivling. A pair of streams of water in the form of a cascading waterfall is also worth a visit.

Was pleasantly surprised by how great the quality of food was, South Indian dishes did not disappoint. The thali is a classic. There's a souvenir shop where you'll get unique pieces at an affordable rate. Staff is very friendly and cooperative, defin
This is a hidden gem. Come here only in the monsoon. You will never forget the experience. This is only place where I was the only tourist. All alone, even no local people.
