The rooms are lovely and the property is well maintained and absolutely stunning. The service was very good all around as well. The only thing that spoiled the experience a bit for us was the limited value for money when it comes to the food (especially dinner). If you sort out dinner on your own this place is perfect
Very nice discovery of this hostel recently (2023) rebuilt from an antique King's house ruins. Exceptionnally tasteful design. Very welcoming host Ramesh will insure good service and very nice food. Best place to base your visits of Aihole and related sites Badamo and Pattadakal.
It is a beautiful place.. well maintained and clam.. must visit place and enjoy the peaceful environment in midst the village and authentic home food.. this place will give you old vibes with structure but it's full with all the amenities of modern world.... I do recommend to visit this experience..
Great Architecture and delicious food, rest was very disappointing. Short staffed and over worked manager doesn't help. Rooms don't have running water, which when repaired leaks in the washroom. Hot water for shower is not available even after multiple complaints. Food is delicious but very small quantity and limited menu options and order needs to be place atleast 30 mins in advance. We had booked three luxury rooms but only two were as promised on the website ,third was a smaller room with washroom water problems and lacking a mirror. Manager refused to accept that we had been given the wrong room and we had to helplessly spend the night with the existing problems. After much insistence , one mirror was arranged. Stairs leading to the first floor luxury rooms have no guiding lights and its pitch dark on the stairs. None of the other complaints were taken care of.
We had a wonderful time staying at the Wada. The ambience , the rooms are really good. The service extended by the staff was very warm almost like a home stay. They took care to see that we were comfortable and even had the food made to our taste. Only minor issue we had was having running hot water , even that was rectified by the in house plumber . Our special thanks to Mr Ramesh, the manager, Mr Jagadeesh( supervisor) Mr Kumar, Mr Yemnur and the other lady staff( housekeeping ) Thank you
