Can experience great scenic views of Edamalayar dam .Not sure if its open throughout the year.It gots it name "vysali cave " as famous malayalam movie VYSALI's shooting was done here.Roads leading to this place are narrow but a normal car can reach easily near the tunnel and all.
The entry to the caves is from the entry point of Idduki dam. There is no sign board for the directions to the cave. While walking on the dam, you'll have to take a detour from somewhere near the washrooms to reach the caves.

I feel bad that i couldnt take a photo of this place to show it to you guys . But lemme express what i felt : This place was so peaceful and beautiful . I can sit there whole day long and talk about life . It looked exactly like the scene from Idukki Gold , but the feeling is different when you experience it with your own eyes . I think that this cave is underrated . This is a must visit place in Idukki . Cameras or other electronic devices are not allowed due to security reasons .
It's one of the best dams in kerala...it is a great place to visit with your family and friends... there are some limitations for taking photos and videos... idukki arch dam is just near to the cheruthoni dam... highly recommended to all....
