It's the most happening place...I have been to beach not to the lighthouse..the beach is awesome and peaceful and clean you can go with family and you can enjoy delicious fish and prawn.. cooks available there. They will charge 100 to 150 rupees depending on the item. Dry fish is available and have many shops where you can buy cool drinks and plates and glasses.
Went here to get Fish... What a lovely view when you walk down the road towards the sea...when i visited there was an auction going for the fish and after the auction you can buy the fiah from the one who got the lot.. Got a King Fish , there were lots of fish varieties, few i think they will export(like tuna, sharks, sting rays).. Will visit soon again..
Very nice experience, market and sea beach is nearer, every thing is available.
This place was lit and very good for those who like silent beaches.

This towering landmark hardly makes an appeal to any tourists visiting the place. Due to location and also due to the gross neglect of the authorities the light house is just a mere structure standing on the shore shooting lights during the night times. If managed well, this could be a very good attraction in the vicinity of the beach.
