The shared videos of Sirimanutsav which is a famous festival of Vizianagaram, where the goddess comes on to the primary priest who gets on to a 45-50 feet tree branch. The priest blesses everyone from the tree branch with a handmade fan. This starts from the Pydithalli ammavari temple and travels all the way to the fort gate & vice-versa. This will continue three times. Atleast 2lakh people attend the event on yearly basis.

Poosapati Vijaya rama Gajapath Raju known as PVGRaju along with his family members are stayed in fort. Late Sri.P.Anand Gajapathi Raju former Member of Parlament and Sri.Ashok Gajapathi Raju Ex Aviation ministers,Telugu Desham party leader are enjoyed their child hood in Fort only. After the entire fort was given to Educational trust ( MANSAS ) Sir.P.V.G Raju garu shifted to Poolbagh guest house Vizianagaram ,he stayed there along with he second wife untill his lost breath. Ashok and Anandh are stayed in Anand Bangala, Ashok Bangala located at cantonment Vizianagaram . Vizianagaram Fort is very beautiful and having historical importance,one who visits Vizianagaram please see the Fort.45 km from Visakhapatnam having trains Buses for every 15 minutes.
