Vivanta Surajkund - Hotel in Delhi - Faridabad, India

It could be a much better experience if they maintained the way this brand should do it. Rooms are quiet okay, play areas are not at all maintained, property is big, the view is nice, breakfast and dinner menu is also great, but still the experience compare to other brands of this level is not there.

Had just a wow experience with the family here. Everything was just perfect from the rooms, service to food and atmosphere. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Hotel staff and services were real quick and polite. Had 2 buffet meals - Dinner and Breakfast and both had enormous amounts of variety and moreover everything was very delicious. The hotel had all the facilities swimming pool, gaming room, children playing room, gym, spa etc and everything was maintained perfectly. Had an amazing time with the family here and everyone enjoyed it.

The place is big and quiet. Rooms are well lit and spacious. The management and staff not atal good. I had to follow-up multiple times on emails stating my requirements.Nobody picks phone until u ring several times. At the time of checkin we had to wait for 45mins to get our room cleaned and decorated for anniversary celebrations. They did it in hassle and hence missed 1 element in celebration package which they did not realise until we told them during checkout.They charge u extra for this package.Indoor Activities offered are very poorly maintained. Taj is known for its hospitality but here its missing big time. Food is ok, dishes get over fast and not filled unless u request them. It was pathetic at time of checkout as they did not have details about how much payment we had done. Their system still showed balance to which later they agreed it was their mistake. Overall we did not like the experience; after spending such a hefty amount. They are not living upto the brand expectations.

This post is for sharing the multiple situations which my family had to face at this property. 1. Rooms were untidy and not cleaned. They had very strong odor of smoke and layer of dust leading to instant discomfort at the entry. 2. Slow housekeeping and response from the hotel manager. It needed multiple follow-up and finally we had to walk out and move towards the reception. Hotel manager didn't had the time and courtesy to talk to guests which should have been the etiquette. 3. Food was served uncooked, proper hygiene was not followed by the chef's. In multiple occasions they were caught cooking leftovers from other guest plates and serving it back to guests. When these issue were reported and highlighted, it was a deaf ear from the hotel manager and was not even sure The General Manager was either informed about this or not. The property is a Taj property and for me a brand associated with this has very high standards. I do have a concern if hotels are taking hefty money for the comfort and services they promised but they are not serious in providing them to customers.

My stay was only for a day but I had a terrible stay.This property is not worth 5star. Services are very slow hardly anyone to attend u.My room phone didn't work for entire day and after calling multiple times from other room one engineer came late in the evening and did nothing again another one came after my complain but I had to ask him to leave as it was 10:30 in the night. There was this housekeeping guy Atleast he made an effort to help with housekeeping.Service is 3 star.sad management.Certainly not a 5star hotel and not worth after paying so much for sure

Rooms, service, food - all perfect. Spacious, clean rooms. Quick, polite staff. Buffet meals had huge variety and were delicious. Hotel facilities like pool, games, gym, spa were well-maintained. Everyone in the family had an amazing time. Highly recommended!

I have stayed in many Taj properties, hence won't talk about the rooms and service as Taj is much better in this aspect (Even though Vivanta did the best they could). What I really liked about Vivanta Surajkund was their in-house amenities, which keep you and your kids engaged.
