Vivanta Kolkata EM Bypass - Hotel in Kolkata - Kolkata, India

From the start the receptionist was very sarcastic when I asked her very politely that I was trying to call the hotel before arrival to confirm my booking which I have done online but no one answered, to which she replied "isn't it obvious that if you have booked online then it's already confirmed and there is no need to talk over the phone". To which I have not further argued because I wanted to have a peaceful stay. After that when I reached my hotel room, the phone was not working. So I went back to the reception and asked another receptionist to repair the phone in my room. And when I came back to my room my room card was not working. Then I had to go back to the reception again to which they did correct the card from their computer. The hotel service is very bad. The repair guy came after 3 hours to repair the phone. The sofa has stains on them god knows what kind of stain.

This is a luxury class hotel with very good security features. The cost is obviously much higher and only people belonging to the aristocratic class can afford it. The quality of the room is decent and the food is okay. The hotel has a good car parking space. The location of the hotel is one of its high points.

I stayed in Vivanta for two nights. It was a memorable experience. The rooms were clean, hygienic and very well maintained. The food was excellent. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Every single member of the staff is what makes this place special. A huge shout out to all the staff members!! You guys are amazing

The location of the hotel is also excellent, situated in the vibrant neighbourhood of Ruby. It offered a convenient base for exploring the city, with plenty of dining options, shopping centers, and attractions within close proximity. I must also mention the delicious breakfast spread served at the hotel's restaurant. The wide variety of dishes catered to different tastes, ensuring a delightful start to each day. The attentive staff made sure that everything was fresh and well-prepared. Overall, my experience at FabHotel Mayfair Tower was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel's comfortable accommodations, outstanding service, and convenient location make it the perfect choice for anyone visiting Kolkata. I highly recommend this hotel to fellow travellers and look forward to returning on my next trip to the city.

Are you guys mad? Don't you guys have the bare minimum knowledge that putting up the price of Rs. 1991 on your site, other sites like agoda will falsely attract customers. And this is sheer manipulation too with the customers who are willing to book rooms in your hotel seeing these offers. If you want to charge a hefty amount of Rs. 90,000 then do it straight away. Why apply these cheap tactics of showcasing a minimal amount and then while booking charging such a hefty amount.

I had a meeting at their reception lounge. Stayed there for an hour or so. Nice cosy place with touch of luxury. Valley parking available. Well behaved staff.

Vivanta by Taj Kolkata is an outstanding property with well appointed room. The highlight of the hotel is very sincere, hardworking and ever smiling staff. The hotel in actual pampers you, spread of breakfast and dinner buffet is also lavish. From pool side one gets a mesmerising view of the city. Thanks staff for looking after us so well

Very nice experience. Very good spread of buffet dinner and breakfast. Friendly staff. Courteous. Rooms well maintained. Enjoyed every bit of my stay with family. Only that the swimming pool temperature really needs to be a little warm. Too cold at all times for a swim. I love swimming, but couldn't for long because of the temperature. Rest the hotel is a great place for a staycation.
