I went for the evening trip. The view was mesmerising as it was diwali and every place was well lit and decorated. The boat went smoothly as we enjoyed the sunset. The arati at the temples added to the charm along with the mantra chants echoing softly. We went for online booking but on spot booking was also available. The food was tasty and all staff members were pleasant. The cruise left and came back on time. Very nice experience.

Excellent evening out on the cruise with a few colleagues. good commentary of the buildings, the structures, and the history of the banks. the cruise docked in Belur and gave us 45 minutes to visit the Math. sufficient snacks and cold drinks provided. alcohol available at extra charge.

The experience was amazing. I had gone for the dinner cruise with my husband and we were welcomed warmly. The food was terrific, the menu was diverse. I made a request for retro songs, although they played the remixed versions, it was nice that they could play the retro numbers. The river cruise was amazing.

Worth going on tour with vivada once while you are in Kolkata....food was nice staff was courteous... Price wise is also good... They take you to belur math also .....

Turned out to be a much better experience than I thought it would be. Evening cruise timing was 4-7pm with a 45min stop at Belur Math.

Great experience. Great ambience. Only shortcoming is that the duration is too less. Only if the duration is increased, it'll be good

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I needed a sameday booking and the booking manager provided me relevant info by phone as well as whatsapp. I was able to make the payment conveniently over credit card an hr before the trip. The trip itself started slightly late (equipment malfunction) but the folks on board the cruise more than made up for it. The food service on board was great, especially the chicken reshmi kabab. At belur math, one of the Vivada folks kept a close eye on the tavelers, making sure everyone got back on the return cruise. We were able to take lots of photos. The onboard narrator did a great job of pointing out important historic landmarks some of which I had not heard about before (even though I was born and brought up in Kolkata.) Several of the servers were masking which was highly appreciated. It was a Friday evening cruise, but there were only a handful of passengers aboard (maybe about 10) -- this allowed the servers pay good attention to our needs. My wife and I had a great time and would come back again in a heartbeat!

At least there is a company providing sightseeing by boats and small ships. It is a chance to see Kolkata differently. However they need to improve a lot on the food served during the cruise.
