Vitthal Kamats - South Indian restaurant in Chinchavan - Raigad, India

It is located on Goa Highway, near Karnala Bird Sanctuary. Restaurant is quite spacious with great seating capacity. It is very crowded specially on weekends or on public holidays. Parking facility is available in front of the restaurant. They have clean toilets. It is a well known vegetarian restaurant. Prices of the items are little costly, but worth the items served. There is a Chikki & Ice-Cream shop also available beside the main hotel. Service is slow

This restaurant is conveniently located on the Mumbai Alibag/Goa Road after Karnala Bird Sanctuary. The taste is average and the service is fast. It was nearly empty on a weekday morning but fully crowded on weekends. There is a decent washroom. Increasing rating to 4 stars due to availability of clean toilets.

Connectivity/Location : Good Connectivity and roads. Located on Mumbai Goa Highway , 12 km away from Panvel Railway Station. Service: Average. They don't take orders on the table we have to go to the counter to order food. Then it's delivered on the table. Food: The place is amazing for breakfast. Batata Vada and Misal pav are amazing . Poha,Upma and dosa are also good. Ambience: The place is quite spacious. Good place to eat breakfast.

Fresh and best food on highways. No compromise with quality. Quantity is okayies It is one of the authentic and good place for fresh food. Mostly menu items are for breakfast or snacks. They started few main course as well, I personally haven't tasted...

Good option for breakfast on your way on Mumbai Goa highway. We tried few things like dosa, Upma, coffee. It was freshly made service can be better. Good spot for food and toilet.

Had usual misal pav, taste was good, not spicy. Normal place for pit stop.

Food quality is below average. We came here after going for a Trek at Karnala Bird sanctuary with a hope of having a nice brunch. Some items from the menu were not available..at the end we opted for South Indian options (safest) but even in basic dishes taste was not good considering the price we paid. Not recommended.

A fine place to dine in / good place to stop for quick bite and clean washrooms
