This is very nicely located place very adjacent to Kopargaon shirdi highway. You can enjoy the Shidi selfie park opposite this place.
We ordered paneer tikka masala, wheat tandoori roti and dal khichdi. Food was very nice however the availability of food is uncertain like we wanted to have chole masala and it was not available.
Enjoy food.
Too ordinarily, Water was served on the third ask that too in a broken plastic glass. Vegetable was too oily. Rotis were made up if maida.
I was really disappointed with my recent experience at Vithal Kamat restaurant in Pune. I had heard good things about the Shirdi, so I was expecting a great meal. However, I was very underwhelmed by the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere.
The food was bland and uninspired. I ordered the Masala Dosa, which is a popular dish, but it was dry and tasteless. The dosa was stale and thick. I also ordered the misal pav, which is another Maharashtrian dish, but it was also very bland. The vegetables were overcooked, and the spices were lacking.
The service was also very slow. I had to wait a long time for my food to arrive, and the waiter was very inattentive. He didn't even refill my water glass once.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very disappointing. It was dark and dingy, and the tables were very close together. It felt more like a roadside dhaba than a fine dining establishment.
Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience at Vithal Kamat restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Here are some specific things that I would like to see improved at Vithal Kamat:
* The food needs to be more flavorful. The dishes should be cooked with more care and attention to detail.
* The service needs to be faster. The wait staff should be more attentive and responsive to customer needs.
* The atmosphere of the restaurant needs to be improved. The restaurant should be brighter and more spacious.
I hope that Vithal Kamat will take my feedback into consideration and make some improvements to their restaurant. I would love to give them another try if they can address the issues that I have raised.
Please avoid. Don't go by the brand name. Quality of food is very bad. Visited Vithal Kamat, Shirdi during lunch time because of the brand name. Waiting time is too long. Very limited food options. Travelled a distance only to realise that they serve only Roti sabzi. Also it's a full self service restaurant from 7am to 12noon and Again from 4pm to 8pm. Only Roti Sabzi is available. Nothing else. No coffee no tea, no card machine also. Don't rely on the brand name. Rude staff. There are much much better veg restaurants nearby. Can be totally avoided.
We visited here in the evening around 5:30 thinking some evening snacks would be there but they were still serving lunch. Other than lunch Only Misal Pav , tea and coffee were available. Quick service. Misal Pav was ok. Coffee was good
Had breakfast. Only dosa options . Missal pav was available . Ordered. Was a missile pav. Not so tasty. Idly pathetic. Chutney ultra pathetic. Dosa was ok ok . Not great . Sambhar was sweet . Overall not up to the mark .Only cash payment. But a smiling waiter
Great quality food and very humble and polite staff great cleanness and hygiene clean washrooms and great place to rest and have snacks
Food was overpriced and Dosa uttapa and everything was tasteless.
Only the tea was good.
Waste of money and time!
