Vitamin Sea - Resort hotel in Thalapady JHC - Dakshina Kannada, India

The resort is bang on the beach , which is awesome. It felt like a private beach, very clean and clear water, a very good place to relax and chill. Interiors are tastefully done for the rooms and bathrooms are comfortably designed and constructed. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the sunset from that point was mesmerizing. I must say the location of the resort is at best place . Excellent hospitality. Best place for awesome beach parties A must visit place . Location is excellent and peaceful. View of the beach can be seen from both the rooms. Good internet, so excellent place for workation! Well maintained and clean rooms and washrooms. Owner of the Villa stays close by, who makes sure, stay is comfortable. There's no restaurants close by.. everything around 7kms + , so need to order from Swiggy/Zomato or home cooked food from nearby place. No shops nearby, so pack essentials n go. We had carried our induction stove, so it was fun cooking by the sea. There has been soil erosion but that doesn't impact you. Currently work in progress to build a protective wall. You can park car inside the villa...Spacious lawn too..The beach is few meters away and is easily accessible. They can arrange for a boat ride in the mangroves. Early morning boat ride was amazing... On advance request bon fire can also be arranged...if you want to stay away from crowd and noise..one of the best place in Mangalore...Overall a great experience..time well spent with family..

Was sceptical after reading few negative feedback but I must say this homestay is one of the best experience I've ever had. Great hospitality, scenic view. You don't feel like you are in India. Shaaz took care of us really well.

Have been wanting to stay at a perfect beach house since a decade. The ones that we see in foreign countries. Finally found Vitamin sea a house on the beach. Underrated, nin commercial. A perfect beach get away. Thank you Shaaz for keeping the promise of renovating the property. It's perfectly done.

Amazing, Superb location! Had multiple options to choose for stay with my family at Mangalore. But eventually after positive feedback from my friends ended up at Vitamin Sea! Must say indeed a great stay, wat more u can expect apart from a scenenic view! My 6 year old nephew had a great time. Shaaz & Abdullah were great hosts(I was told to treat the property as my own house, that's unique) along with Rashiq with heart warming hospitality. U have big lawn after a long travel my car went to take a bath in this wide space. City is 30mins away for you to visit the iconic food places in Mangalore without much travel. There are some cool small sized malls near to 5km from the property to have some evening snack time. Everything is accessible. Lucky to be here in the property. Recommended location!

A very friendly staff that helps you feel at ease and takes care of all the needs and requirements. Located at a serene location away from the hustle and bustle of regular life, this place feels like a great weekend getaway. The food was nice. The place is away from the city as far as 20-25 kms. And if you are from Bangalore you wont complain as the city is just 20-30 minutes drive away. This place needs your own transport. Fantastic time spent. Tent was a added bonus.

Visited with family. And it was a pleasant surprise to see the property. Far from city, on the beach. Only negative is nothing is available nearby, so you have to be self sufficient. But Siddiqui is a great caretaker, very friendly, and he is always available for you for anything you need. He was very helpful and caring for us. Owner, Shaaz provided great hospitality..!! Thank you.. Overall it was a nice 3 days peaceful stay, everyone enjoyed a lot including our 2 months old son..

Words cannot explain the beauty of this property. A perfect Portuguese styled house with simple interiors but mind blowing view. You don't feel like coming back. A must visit in Mangalore. Found this jewel after a lot of research. Well done with the renovation.
