Over crowded and mismanaged... you have to wait for your food. Oily food plates and not properly washed. minimum hygiene and cleanliness is not maintained. No written Menu cards. Prices are different and higher than Visva Bharati students compared to others. Food quality is worst... That's it.
If the cooking was a little better, I would have given this review better today. Absolutely disgusting food. Nothing is better than fast food. I don't know why the cheese curry is so salty.
As university canteens go, this was typical but with quite a sweet twist: the kindness of the fellow in charge at the front. I had stupidly forgotten to bring money, only a card, and of course a canteen doesn't usually accept cards. PayTM, yes, but I didn't have it. But this wonderful young man said I could go ahead and order, and he'd trust me to bring the money another time. I had chana masala and an egg roll, which to my surprise wasn't the small Chinese appetizer I assumed it would be but a long spicy wrap of omelet and vegetables under something like a soft tortilla. Very tasty, though a bit gooey. I also had a decent lassi. All for just Rs 80! A steal. This place is perfect for visitors to Viswa Bharati just wishing for some quick and fairly healthy comfort food at bargain prices. Ambience is not the draw here, though it's possible to sit outside at one of the few tables for a more pleasant view.
I am changing my review.Before this i gave a positive response to this canteen but i think that review is not match with present food quality.This canteen can make better quality food but they don't do that in present days.So my opinion to tourist you may go some other resturent and can get better food in Rs70.Thank you for reading
Earlier it was really a good one, but now a days it is focusing on profit only. Very very bd quality food, specially the lunch. Everyfood has same tste
