Vishramgad forest means PATTA fort, I visited to this fort with my office team. We had reached there on the early morning. Very pleasant cool environment while starting trekking. There is entry fee Rs. 30 per person. There is good construction of steps at all places of patta fort, so it is very straightforward for trekking. While starting trekking, we got surprise of the team of monkeys. There is statue of chatrapati shivaji maharaj. A lot of trees of "karwand". If possible, please go with water bottles and light food items. There is also one temple of devi mata. We enjoyed trekking a lot. I would recommend you to visit this fort. Very rare footprints of fort, but you will enjoy trekking.

Patta Fort is straightforward to climb. During the full moon (Poornima), the disciples of Laxmangiri Maharaj gather at these caves. The 'Ambarkhana' is a large, newly reconstructed hall which can accommodate about 200 visitors for overnight stays. A rock-cut cistern exists near Ambarkhana. With villagers' help, the forest department has developed pathways, steps, and a gazebo around the fort. Many wind turbines have been erected on the way to Pattewadi, constructed by Enercon. In the Bhavarth Ramayana written by Eknath, Patta Fort and Aundha Fort are mentioned. Entry Fees 30Rs Per person

Feeling proud to remember lord shivaji foot touch at this place. Very weel managed, clean and has historically significant to this fort where Lord Shivaji came from Jalanpur for rest after battle with Mughals. During 1669 Mughals tried to cover this fort from 3 sides but they couldn't catch Lord Shivaji. Take some healthy food for monkeys there and have a good trekking day. Start early as it takes 6-7 hours to walk entire fort.

We covered this place by our bicycle ride around 150 km round trip Nashik - Taked - Vishramgad - Sinnar - Return to Nashik. Really very nice experience and we can practice on this routes for leh manali trip preparation, road condition is very bad and climb is also very steep and enjoyed lot.

Amazing place ... Great combination of Nature and History... Slight drizzle with smooth touch of clouds enhance the experience and shivering cold winds makes it unforgettable...
