The restaurant in Dasprakash Paradise, is one of the old Mysore classics... They have maintained the same decor and food quality over the years... When we were young, an afternoon lunch at Dasprakash used to be a luxury to look forward to... Food quality is very good. This time, we tried tomato soup, veg Manchurian and veg biriyani ... Food was really good and and portion sizes served 2 easily. Of course, how can you miss ice cream when you are in Daspraksh? A scoop of Vanilla ice cream is the best way to top up a scrumptious meal :) Prices are very reasonable a well. Service is a bit laid back, but then what do you expect on a weekend afternoon in Mysore??

At dinner, we sat for 30 mins to give our order, and around 40 mins for the food, even if there's no crowd in the restaurant. The service was pretty bad. The food was also average. However, in the morning, we sat for breakfast and it was really nice and tasty. The vada and dosa had a crisp to it. They also had watermelon juice along with tea and coffee. It was a breakfast buffet basically. Overall the experience was average. During the dinner, it was a bit . But the breakfast balanced it out.

Ambient, quite, clean, beautiful resturant, centred in a residential area. Food is good, reasonably priced, courteous service, all together, keeps one happy while dining, and thereafter too...

Every aspect of the experience was terrible. Poorly maintained restaurant, extremely slow service and worst of all, terrible food quality. Even the drinks were off in some way. What was supposed to be Spaghetti Naepolitan tasted like Maggi noodles mixed with ketchup and a bit of grated cheese. Will not be returning here even if you paid me to.

Very disappointed. Had high expectations but were immediately disappointed. The staff were pretty sleepy and took 20 minutes to take our order and another 40 minutes to give the 4 idlis and 1 curd rice. Not coming here again

Food is okay. Gravy quantity seems to be less compared to the price tag. North indian dishes are average. Coconut rice is must try dish in Vishala resturant

The service was awful and the food was okay. They forgot to give us the sweets that comes with meals and when asked, the waiter took forever and if it wasn't enough, while we we were ordering, the waiter specifically told us that each meal is 150 and we're okay with it, like we couldn't afford it or we don't how to read from the menu while ordering. That was the tone he was giving and that guy never came by to check on us whether we wanted a refill of sambar or something, which we did need at some point and had to ask another waiter. That's the state of things here. I don't know if this happens to everybody, but we certainly weren't satisfied. My parents took me here telling me that Dasaprakash will be good but apparently it's not. I'm not putting my foot there again.

Quality has gone down badly, not even 10% of what it used to be. This used to be one of our go to places for veg food, but lately its gone really bad. Avoid.
