Vishal Mega Mart - Hypermarket in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

Cons: 1. Parking opens at 11:00am 2. Some of the items are unorganised and parts missing (especially electronics, example: screws are missing from Tube lights) 3. There are many counters but very few cashiers, so it takes a lot of time to check out your items. 4. The staff are without uniforms, so it's difficult to know who is customer and who is not. 5. Elevator is there but not accessible to parking area. Pros: 1. Helpful staff 2. Many choice of items to select from 3. Location

The billing here is confusing. The first time I went was in 2021, to buy some sandals for my son. And, all their online payment systems were down. I had to run outside and search for an ATM; Them being just opened, it seemed understandable. Today, its Oct. 2023. I went again for the second time, I stood in line for 45 Mins with my wife and son, to buy another chapal! By the time we reached the counter, it was "online payment only" counter (no 7), though there was no signage of any sort. They sent us to the back of the line in another counter (no 4). 2 Hours. Service here is bad and I'm starting to think its by design.

I visited Vishal Mart with my family. There are very good collections of all type of dresses and other household materials. However, the service of supporting staffs are very poor. They don't even know how to enter a product to their system for billing. Because of the same, we could not purchase a dress which was not there in their own database. Further, the most horrible attitude of security guards especially a women who is treating customers like thieves. After billing and making payment, once we are going out, she took all materials out and dumped it back in very unprofessionally. This is the reason I am giving one star.

Vishal Mart is a chain of retail seller of groceries, wide range of house hold items and apparel all over India. The company has more than 550 outlets in India. Here we get almost all the items that we need for a home. Surely this will be a place to purchase good quality items for affordable rate. Thanks to Vishal Mart for making our aspirations affordable.

Like where are the staff hiding? Do I need to unpack products from crates & packages on my own? Who measures the loose products like rice, sugar, dal etc? & whats with mist of check out counters being closed? Very Very poor management & service.

I seriously do not know basis on what they hire staff members. Ladies at the billing counter not sure why they were in a rush, as I was asked to go and stand on the queue from one billing counter to the another after long wait. Moreover, when I asked for store manager seems no one was damn interested to tell, really is this how you are going to run business with such an attitude. Well I hope you guys are reading this, if not trust me one day someone on the other hand will going to teach you all how to interact with customers. Such a worst experience in had today.

One stop shopping mall at Shillong City. Variety of items as compared to other store . There is issue with car park ing area as it is too small. Check out counters are less in number and need to trained. But with Shillong tertiary it is very well maintained and located. There are certain areas which need to improvement still it is one of best shopping centre in the City.

It's good but lots of improvement can be done. Staff too can improve a lot. Specially with customer. Parking wise is good can expect much because of the situation. Clothes n items are reasonable with the price.
