The trek was quite tricky due to the waterfall but really an amazing experience during the Monsoon. The natural beauty was speechless and you may feel like in heaven. It is a mind blowing experience. Carry water bottles and some energy bars that may cheer your trekking. Kindly visit on weekdays so as to avoid rush and traffic. Thank you.
wonderful experience, the view is awesome. Especially the fortifications are worth seeing. Choose morning or evening time to wander around the fort. Since the fort area is huge, there is a lot of walking, so avoid the afternoon time for wandering.
Let me be honest here, it is not for beginners as the trek is just 3 km one side but a very narrow path leading to step climb of rocks with water flow on. Don't go without your trekking shoes otherwise you get injured here and there . Having said that it is beautiful at the top as it is a plateau now once you are done with the climb and trek. It has a lush green environment with small water logs along the way due to rain. A few continuous small waterfalls and flowers. A view having the worthiness of a trek and the effort makes you feel good. One major suggestion from my side, if you are young or a bike lover, go via a two wheeler as the way for the car is very narrow. I myself went via car but it was a stressful last 15km drive due to a single lane and it is not possible to give way at many turns and twists. Overall have a good trek and have fun. I hope this helps!
It is a nice monsoon trek to spend some quality time in the lap of nature. You have to cross rocky patches and stairs to reach at the top of fort. Trek duration would be around one and half hour. In monsoon, stairs and rocky patches will be slippery. Be careful. So trek difficulty level is moderate. Due to foggy weather, I wasn't able to explore the complete fort. But experience to trek here was quite fascinating. You will get parking place in base village.
Awesome place for trek. Not much crowd compared to other places. Views are amazing, offroad ride is required to reach base and trek is simply 30min and all on boulders. Avoid planning on rainy days. Carry water bottle and small shops are there at base. Parking is free, no entry fee for visit and no timings
Quite a very good place and have wonderful tracking experience as you go up you will enjoy more and can see more beautiful views around you and when you reach the top it feels like heaven as there clouds are coming repeatedly with sparkling showers and cool breeze. Moreover this is one of the best places to escape from the city and it's easy to reach. The best time to visit this place is during the rainy season also carry raincoat along with you because on top when clouds come it starts raining.
Most adventurous trek... the view is awesome... the greenery is terrific... We reached at 7 am and not much crowd.. Best time is that... u would get to see the best view and click good photos...trek is easy to medium level and short one..
Its a must visit place if you are a hard core trekker. You have to park the car at the road and need to trek for an hour to reach this wonderful fort. First 10-15 mins you need to walk through planes and then 45 mins hard core waterfall climbing up through the rocks. It will be a mind blowing experience if there is little bit of drizzle. Red paints are there on the rocks which helps us identify the route. This place is mostly not crowded and hardly 25-30 people will climb this in a day as it will find difficult for amateur trekkers to climb the waterfall through the rocks. There is no shops for refreshments at the parking area. There are not much sign boards or identification marks to this place. Roads through the planes are quite muddy and definitely your clothes and shoes will be in red colour once you are back But if you are a hard core trekker, then its a must visit place. Its a heaven on the top!
Beautiful villa with a terrace, swimming pool and small play area for kids. Rooms are air conditioned. Amazing food prepared by the in house cook. Parking available on the premises, can accomodate 4 to 5 cars easily. Pet friendly.
