Visakka's The Amethyst Hotel Palani - Hotel in Palani, Sivagiripatti - Dindigul, India

The food was spoiled and customer service was poor. We ordered a veg biriyani and the vegetables were spoiled and smelly. The chicken in the chicken biriyani was not cooked properly. There was no customers in the restaurant. Pls don't go there.

My stay here was not planned one but my conversation with reception staff Ms Subha helped me in choosing this property and i am happy with my decision. Amazing experience overall. Perfect view of nature especially at dawn and dusk. Sipping hot tea and a window view while watching spiritual mountain of palani is nothing less than a mega classic feel. Special thanks to all the staff especially the management for their exemplary hospitality. Outstanding attention-to-detail that results in work that is consistently free from error. Very humble and polite nature of reception and security staff was exceedingly appreciable. A small children park would be great and i am sure that extremely professional staff of amethyst will do needful in future. Delectable food is just ice on the cake. Hygienically well maintained place with Spotless hospitality will definitely make you visit again..

Overall no wifi, cable tv doesn't work, dinner is very bad, food and sambar had a foul smell , no hot water except morning core hours. In summary my honest feedback: Overall staff and it's owner is very aggressive and bullied to customers please see all the below comments before u decide on this place to stay and they all need a hospitality training and customer first attitude.

Accidentally, on our way back from palani we stayed in the hotel. The receptionist Subha Sree was very accommodating and friendly.Always responded with a smile. She served us sumptuous vegitarian meal The room felt nice. Bathrooms were clean..( far from the unclean and over priced) lodges near the palani temple. Keep up the good work.May lord Muruga bless you with much wealth.

Rooms were fantastic. We got executive room and it was big enough for two people. The location was also scenically attractive. One of the best places to stay in Palani. This is exactly 3 kms to Palani temple which will take hardly 10-15 minutes.

Only the location is good, Food is not hygiene, taste is also very bad not acceptable with their Prices, Reception communication is very poor in case of emergency, Bar is also worst with first copy liquors

Had a pleasant stay with family. Food was good. Rooms were spacious neat and clean. Suite room has the best temple view The management concentrates more on quality is what I felt personally. Mr. Naveen the CEO was very down to earth. If u r looking out for a comfortable stay this is the best choice in Palani very happy with the ambience location and food

Very unfortunate that we visited here. This place is not suitable for a family group. On our way back from Palani temple, we wanted to have vegetarian lunch at a calm place and seeing the name Jade veg restaurant, we went inside. ( Myself, mother, brother and sister). On enquiry security guard told that veg meals is available. The receptionist advised to go to first floor. Seated in the restaurant at first floor we ordered veg meals. They brought very ordinary veg meals (199 rs). While we were having the meal they served alcohol to a group seated next to us. We were shocked and asked the person (incharge) why this is happening. We asked him whether we are in a bar. He replied that the same is done because customers ask for the same. We hurriedly finished the meal and reported to the receptionist who advised us to go to the first floor. She said that this is a news to her and said that alcohol is not served in restaurant and she don't know why this is happening in the first floor. We were confused. However this place seems not safe/comfortable for family group.
