Temple with vibes. Hampi's main temple. Best time to visit is early morning or evening time you can enjoy. Noon it will be too hot. Hire a guide to explore each and every sculpture of this temple. Parking is available around 500m away. You can click pictures and videos . You can also visit River to enjoy.
Very good feeling to visit this temple in the morning, low crowd and great experience. Lots of monkeys though around and it's good if you carry some bag if you want to feed banana to the elephant as monkeys won't let you carry it till there. Place for shoes is properly placed and parking is well designed. Also note to buy the ticket at entrance if you want to go inside and near to the statues.
Ok so this place in Hampi is must visit and most probably the first place which you will visit. The vibration of this temple and it's surrounding temple deities are very high and you will love to spend a long time over here. Admire the beauty of this temple along with this observe all the statues and deities which are there along with the elephants and morning evening aarti if you can.
Most important place and temple in entire Hampi where Pooja is still performed. Again out of the world sculptures and stone cutting. How the same was done 500 years ago is beyond my imagination. The pin hole camera image inside was proof of mastery of Indians on technologies.
The temple is very well maintained, deity of God Shiva and Goddesses are in the temple area. It was beautifully dressed in flowers. Do not miss the inverted image magic behind the deity temple. Various poojas are done here. Very spacious and beautiful carvings Do not miss out meeting Laxmi Elephant.
