The worst place I have ever come across. Although the owner is a pure gentleman but the staffs were horrible. The staff at reception were rude to us. Although we had settled the bill at night since our train was early in the morning , the staff at the reception had asked me to pay again. Rooms are good but not properly cleaned. Smelly bedsheets. Bathrooms are horrible. Foul smell was coming from bathroom. The most annoying part was , I ordered food for my kid and they had served last day's rice and dal. When we had shouted at the service boy then the chef came to us and confessed that the rice was not cooked that day, it was last day's rice. Terrible experience.
Nice location. Close to eateries and shops but quiet. Friendly staff and comfortable stays. We wanted a hotel to freshen up after a long train journey from Chennai to Siliguri and so walked in to this place walkable from the station for a 4 Hrs stay enroute to Bhutan. Liked it so much that we booked if for a whole night while transiting here for Darjeeling from Bhutan
Nice rooms but not maintained properly. The location is very good. Room service is very poor. Not a variety of foods available. Veg only.
