This is a small railway station in guntur - renigunta section. Only one platform is using for both up and down sections . Second platform is under construction. Renovation work is going on. Out side of the station autos are available.

Vinukonda railway station is on Guntur- Guntakal route. It is an average rating railway station with great revenue. I think the railway department could give proper priority to stop the trains.Need to be fixed coach guidance display boards on the platforms.
