There are great collections of photos taken in the 1950s. original belongings of Mahatma Gandhi and Vinobhaji are there, also they're keeping the Ashes of Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba. ChristuHari Chettan showed me the ashram and explained the history of the ashram. Poorly maintained due to lack of funding and support from the public and government, pay a visit this place and help them. Must visit place, museum has an awesome collection of yester year pictures of Gandhiji, some of his ashes are stored there along with Vinobhajj's as well. Rare collection of books and articles used by Gandhiji. Great collection poorly maintained due to lack of funding and support from government or public. There is an Ashram called as Vinobaniketan upholding and sharing Gandhi - Vinoba principles. Here, Vinoba Bhave laid foundation stone for a Grama Vidyalaya / Rural school in 1957. This institution has a Gandhi - Vinoba museum carrying the memories of Gandhiji and Vinoba bhave, their Movements, their Belongings even their Holy Ashes...
