Good place for worshiping the holy Mother Ganga . To take a dip in the rover I would recommend you to cross the river with a bot which would take around 50Rs per person. The water on the other side is much more clean.
It's a nice place to visit put the things how working the temple and the paid system for visiting fast by the panda log is very disgusting but the emotions of religion for the goddess is not make you un-satisfied
Vindhyachal Temple, also known as Maa Vindhyavasini Temple and Vindhyachal Dham, is a Hindu temple dedicated to the mother goddess Vindhyavasini, situated on the bank of river Ganga at Vindhyachal in Mirzapur district, Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the Shakti Pitha temples in India. According to scriptures, Vindhyachal city is also believed to be the abode of Goddess Durga. Near this place, many temples dedicated to other deities can be found. Some of them are Ashtabhuji Devi Temple and Kali Khoh Temple. It is said that the goddess chose Vidhyanchal to stay after killing the demon Mahishasura. Thousands of devotees can be seen in the temples of Vidhyanchal and this number increases even more during the days of Navaratri. The whole city is decorated with lamps and flowers during this festival. Maa Vidyavashini temple is one among the 51 Shaktipeeth's. Inside Vindhyachal Temple entrance The main deity Vindhyavasini gets her name from the Vindhya Range, literally meaning, "one who resides in Vindhya". In the temple, the people of Panda community get VIP darshan by taking good money, due to which the common devotees have to face a lot of trouble.
Very beautiful temple but full of crowded. This temple is situated in Mirzapur, up. The nearest city is Allahabad and varanasi. It's a good temple with a strong belief of locals. There are 2 - 3 temples near to this temple, like bhairo Temple, astbhuja Temple, kali kho, and more. If you pass from this road so you can visit it, it's worth it. You can see beautiful views as well. No any entry charges are needed for entry in any temple. For the transportation for reaching this temple, you can easily find local buses and taxi from both main cities.
Very famous temple across India for the worship of Maa Vindhyavasini . Try to go early morning else it becomes crowded and you have yo go through long queues. Place your shoes by buying pooja material from nearest shops to temple gate so that you don't have to walk a lot barefoot. There are no entry charges to the temple. Currently Vindhya corridor is under construction so there is lot of mud etc. around. Hope it will be completed very soon
