If you have a mission in thanjavur and want an encouraging environment to pursue it come here..... Want me to tell you why? Here it is.........Firstly, the friendly and easy to talk Padma mam, the owner of the hostel, to whom you can tell any grievance and she will get it redressed soon. Then, Neat and clean spaces. Every week your bathrooms and toilets will be cleaned, your rooms will be sweeped and mopped by respective workers. Finally, good food especially Breakfast & dinner and caring workers. This is my experience no exaggeration. Hope this will help you and best wishes.... Thank you!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS TERRIBLE HOSTEL AT ALL COST!! I have had the worst experience of my life at this ladies hostel. The owner, Mrs. Padma Madam, is extremely incompetent at her job. There was no sense of hospitality, or comfortness living in this hostel. Food is also horrible. The room space is insuficient. There are three people in a 2 person room. It is unpossible to live here. There is too much restriction. and constant unneccesary checking. even my parents dont do this much. DO NOT RECOMEND AT ALL!!!!!

Good stay..I stayed here for an year!!.love the food provided there.. The rooms are neat and good!They clean rooms and bathrooms very frequently Have some really good food joints near this place..so can't complain.. The cost for the room and food is very minimal.. Had a very comfortable stay

Accommodation at Vijayam hostel was highly recommendable coz their rooms are so neat and spacious it feels like our home and safest place too. Girls!! just go for it.. food also tasty and good but most of the day they are cooking puli kulambu for lunch it was too spicy, oily and salty . This alone is their limitations other than they are providing rooms according to our wish and the availability.

The best ladies hostel and very near to Thanjavur New Busstand. Good food is provided. Rooms are well ventilated and kept neat and clean. Huge demands for the rooms. Hope the wait listed people will get accomodation in their new upcoming building which is being constructed just opposite to the existing hostel.

Good as compare to other hostel in cleanliness ,food ,mantainance.
