Yesterday I purchased couple of trousers for my son. It teared with in 10 mins. If stiching is poor also fine for me. it teared on non stiching area. Very worst material collection.

Vijalakshmi stores located in the prime of Marthandam is a textile shop for all age group. We've been frequenting to the shop but recent events have stopped us from going to the shop anymore. There is a parking lot little ahead of the shop. They have ample space to park. But once we park, the security accompanies to ensure that we go to Vijayalakshmi. One time, after parking our car my husband kept on walking without noticing the shop while I entered the shop. Immediately security and other people in front of the shop started shouting as if he had committed a crime. It made him feel embarrassed. It was a mistake which didn't require any fuss. He would have realized that he is going the wrong way and would have definitely turned back. As for the collections, there isn't much.we could clothes for all age group but there aren't collections from which we could purchase. Moreover, I feel it to be costly in comparison with the quality of the material. I bought a saree for 800 rupees which I very clearly knew that the material is not worth it for 800 but I had to buy a saree and nothing else was upto my liking. When I unwrapped the saree after coming home, I realized that it was damaged in multiple places. Even billing is done immediately, but receiving the product... My God.... Even if we say that our baggage is right there... they don't give it... making us wait and their rudeness... even infuriates me... I don't get angry with any of the working people because I know how difficult is to stand all day long... I even thought I would not better receive the baggage.

The collections of dresses are gud ... but some staffs arent that gud at times they are rude and unpleasant .... especially to non-tamilans like us .... Thts one reason we stopped shopping there

Good collection and the thing is we need some one's help to view the dresses. It should be modified. Like trends we can go around and select our own. And late night staffs will be hurry cos they should leave shop and pick their buses on time.expecting some more trendy collections.

One of the best textiles in the marthandam surrounding. Lot of collection is there when compared to RMS store. But only minus is some staffs need to be more friendly the customers.

Good store for clothes purchasing. You got all varieties for entire family members. Good parking space is available.
