Vijay Vilas Heritage Resort - Resort hotel in Mandvi Rural - Kachchh, India

The manager is the most arrogant fellow you will come across. Highly overpriced for what they have to offer. Completely opposite to the hospitality that Kutch has to offer for its visitors.

The rooms are too small and amenities and facilities are not commensurate to the rates charged for the room. The so called private beach is good 800m to 1 km away through forested area and no e vehicle or go- cart available to reach the beach. While the walk during day time is good we faced issues for vehicle to get back after dinner at night. Quality and choice of food for meals is limited. We had taken breakfast and dinner included in the package, there was no choice for non veg for dinner nor anything item in breakfast. The changing room and shower at the beach was adequate but the beach chair, umbrella and benches were barely maintained also there was no snacks catered for time spent at the beach. The location is very nice but this resort can be avoided for others available on the beach which may or may not be of the quality one is looking for Overall an average stay

Hello new traveler and tourists, please don't be fooled by the photos you see online. Stayed only one night thinking it would give home vibes but it was the complete opposite the services weren't as good as expected. We booked 3 villas from all 3 villas there was hot water issue in the morning, in one villa TV wasn't working properly, no heater provider when it gets cold at night below 7 degrees Celsius, when asked for blanket the blankets smelt like cigarette smoke, cleanliness of the rooms were okay. When you compare the prices to the facilities that were provided it's not worth it, the resort restaurant had flies in it flying around everywhere while the food is being served, If you do visit the Palace it's a amazing place to visit and experience but if your are going to stay in the Villas please don't have high hopes that it will be as good as the place as it won't meet your expectations as it is to over priced. When we tried to give fair reviews on the stay at the reception we were treated unwell and unprofessional. But once again the palace is definitely something to have a look at the architecture and the way it's well maintained.

The itinerary said that we'd be staying at the Vijay Vilas Palace at Mandvi, with a private beach and all. Imagine my excitement! Palace and beach, what more can I wish for? Remind me to read the fine print always. After a long drive, when we reached the palace hotel, it turned out to be a line of row houses next to the original palace. Extremely basic. Like government quarters. We couldn't be more disappointed. We had snacks and dinner which was really tasty. I must give them that. It was more like a camp, not cosy at all. Bare rooms, okay bathrooms. We could not get out of there fast enough. Pic 1 is the palace. Pic 2 is an adorned part of the hotel. Pic 3 is the set of row houses paraded as a heritage hotel. It's anything but. We did drive to the beach at sunset and that more than made up for the rest of the disappointments. When in doubt, turn to nature.

This beautiful property is close to the famous Mandvi Beach and located in midst of a forest. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but bathrooms could be better. Service is good and the beach restaurant was a highlight of the stay.

All experience is very good but some where I fill little bit costly, Like food and stay rent ,and need to little more improvement of private beach kids are bored on beach, Otherwise pool and rooms are totally very well managed and this place is best place for relaxing and kids also love this place,and whole staff are also really helpful. Thank you we really enjoyed.

The Rooms are average, non maintained. Pool was not good, I think they don't clean it for months. Food was tasteless, buffet was not worth the money. Private beach is ok, no proper seating arrangements compared to nearby other resort. Behavior of management is worst. guests will regret their stay. I never recommend this resort to anyone coming to Mandvi.

I loved this place, and it has so many different old things which was used by king. The view was great.
