Rooms and the staff were really good, quality of food was excellent but I should recommend to try local street food which is really special in Varanasi. Only drawback of this place is it is not really close to the ghats, one has to walk few steps to reach Assi Ghat.
They are doing service like its for free. Typical dharmashala feel. Only rooms are good. Not worth for money
Vijaigarh Kothi is very conveniently located - a few minutes walk from Assi Chauraha and a 10 minute walk from Assi Ghat. The staff is very helpful and cooperative. The rooms and bathrooms are grand and spacious. They provide a true homestay experience.
Emplacement ideal pour ce petit hotel a moins de 10' de Assi gath. Les chambres sont spacieuses, mais sans fenetres, grande salle de bain, et literie de qualite. Un peu bruyant car il donne sur la route, et pas de vue. Le responsable est souriant et accueillant, il a ete tres reactif lorsque nous lui avons reclame d'autres choses pour le petit dejeuner... Par contre il serait bien, d'etoffer un peu le buffet... que l'on puisse se servir soi meme en pain, mettre + de fruits, jus de fruits , le the et cafe..en libre service . Et aussi proposer des Pancakes... on vous propose aussi une omelette..
Visited Varanasi with my parents for three days. Stayed in Vijaigarh kothi, it's very near to assi ghat. The hotel was good, rooms and washrooms were clean and the staff was very nice. Mr Shubham was very cooperative and ensured that everything during the stay was well taken care of. I'd definitely recommend this property to others who visit Varanasi
Vijaygraha kothi is a homestay kind boutique hotel,and it's v comfortable and the location is fantastic,so close to Assess ghat and a lot of restaurants. The manager Mr Shubham is v helpful n cooperative ,the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are big,the breakfast is v tasty and wholesome Will definitely recommend this place to stay when visiting Varanasi
Truly a very comfortable experience. Assi ghat is at walking distance yet it is close to main road. Rooms and bathrooms are huge. Check in and out was smooth. Car parking is available.
good stuff- the room was provided to me a bit early. there is a pond in front of kothi where you can feed the fish. good activity for kids.bad stuff - i was traveling with 2 kids and hence asked for extra towels and pillows. we were blatantly denied of both. is this really 3 star?? we had a terrible time trying to g stay with the kids. breakfast was not that great at the hotel. but you can take since nearby eating is not that great. lunch and dinner not available. this is not wheelchair friendly.the steps are high and you will have a tough time climbing the stairs. Major issues with the bathroom. do not go by the nice pictures posted. the bathroom will get super slippery. the tiles are not good. the lights were flickering and instead of repairing, the person have me other options to use the mirror. this is definitely not a 3 star place.
