Valparai is a Taluk and hill station in the Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu, India. It is located 3,500 feet (1,100 m) above sea level on the Anaimalai Hills range of the Western Ghats, at a distance of 100 kilometres (62 mi) from Coimbatore and 65 kilometres (40 mi) from Pollachi and 25km away from Malakkapara, Kerala. There are 40 hairpin bends on the way up to Valparai from Azhiyar. While major portions of the land are owned by private tea companies, large forest areas continue to be out of bounds.[2] As of 2011, the town had a population of 70,859. Yesterday some rain climate is very cool Temperature is very low.

It's a nice place to chill and enjoy with the family and friends the river bank has full of pebbles and they are super smooth. The water is so clean and clearly visible and the depth of the water is around 5 to 6ft max. The tea estate, the river and the grass land on the sides of river gives u natural felling and u will enjoy the place very much

A decent view. They say you can see elephants in the forest below from up above, but unfortunately we didn't. Climate was really pleasant, will be chilly during the winter months so that would be the better time to visit.

This Place gives u heaven like feel because it is in the Mist spreading Zone. So you will feel like in the Mid of Clouds. Pleasant cool temperature and Chilling Breezes Awesome feel. This place is located in Anamalai Valparai Road. Sometimes due to huge mists visibility became very low and drivers tends to stop here to take relax and wait for clouds to get cleared. Nice place take some Heaven feel photos and to enjoy this scenic beauty.

On the way bridge over river. Dangerous to get in but people will still ignore signboards. Nothing spectacular but a good pit-stop if you have some time to spend. Could get crowded at times and depending on the season, the river may or may not be flowing to it's fullest potential. Overall you may just pass by and may not even realise you just passed a "view point" because the drive itself is so scenic :-)
