A great little picnic spot in Pathankot. This location provides a great aerial view of Ranjit Sagar Dam. Mini Goa and Chamrour are also a few km away from this point. Overall a decent place for a picnic. You will find plenty of snacks and food stalls for a quick bite while enjoying the view. Rainy season will be the best time to visit this place

Ranjit Sagar Dam. Shahpurkandi, Pathankot Distance from Pathankot: 30kms. The dam is a part of the hydroelectricity project of the state Government of Punjab and was completed in 2001. The Ranjit Sagar Dam is also known as the Thien Dam and constructed on the river Ravi. The dam is a great picnic spot with its lush green surroundings. The Ranjit Sagar Dam is located in a very serene and idyllic location. It is at a drive-able distance from Pathankot and the drive is also very scenic and enjoyable.

One requires prior permission to visit dam. Located at statigic location . Water flowing through the dam was green. AWESOME Beware of monkeys

The View is superb and mesmerising also you can get Maggi and other snacks here , there is a stall at this point. This is the view point of the dam.
