View Point Hogenakkal - Tourist attraction in Hogenakkal - Dharmapuri, India

One of the best view . My suggestion is if your planning to visit Hogenakkal take boat ride from karnataka side. Here Tamilnadu side most of the time they cancel boat ride because of heavy water currents. From Karnataka side boat riders they will be rowing with the flow of water so chances are very less. Otherwise view is good. Atleast try dry massage. Its worth to take it.

Pleasant and peaceful place for watching great view and feel fresh air. Plastic free place. Please ensure not to throw any plastic/waste, dustbins are placed in most of the places. Overall a great place to spend time with family or friends in the whole day. We visited it on a sunny day in April 3rd week 2023, although it was hot and sunny still the place managed to charm us with its offbeat vibes.

Every thing is good.. apart from the coracle ride. For a single boat you have to pay -750 ( 4 adults and 1 child max). In 750 Rs..they will just show the view from the top. If you wish to go down they will charge extra ( you need to bargain 1000Rs-4000Rs). But in my experience for 750Rs you feel cheated. About the place - nice place for bath under stream water with mesmerizing view and oil massage add on. We travelled from Bangalore to Hogenakkal by bike. 70% road is good 20% road under construction and rest 10% have pot hole frequently.

Very beautiful, must visit. There is a coracle ride, for which you'll have to get tickets from the counter (govt), which includes 40mins boat ride to the falls and beneath the falls, they'll show you only one falls. ( here the boatman might try to get extra cash saying, it's extra for going down to the falls which is not true) For the provided ticket you will get a 40min ride and they will take you beneath the falls, any issues with that you can go to the main desk and talk, the person in the ticket counter was very helpful and changed the boatman for us. But if you want to see beyond the one falls, then they'll ask extra unofficially ( prices of which are highly negotiable) Rainy season when the water levels are high,Coracle boating will be closed. Overall a beautiful place to visit

The place as always is mind blowing... The person who escorted us last year and the year before we hired the same boat man(Kumar) . The total cost comes upto 4k for croacle ride. The water flow was very less this time. The place is very hot during this time of the year. There are lot of fish options to eat but not much veg options. Carry your own food if u r looking for pure veg options.And do carry a pair of spare clothes there are changing rooms and washroom as well.

Waterfall seems very beautiful but depend on middle of water boat journey was very uncomfortable. But demand double amount what ever we fix at started journey and don't trust board guys. Body spa was vary level and money for value also

The place is ok, from Bangalore to water there comes a trench of 40 km of forest, so it's a good trip to drive, the journey is beautiful, it took 3.5 hrs from Bangalore to the waterfall. When you reach there the path to the waterfall is the worst, it's a fish market, if you can bear the smell at the end you will find two spots, one says way to waterfall when you reach there, it has no waterfall just a Place where you can take boating to waterfall and another is a bridge. The place is not worth it if you are not boating, boating is expensive, govt rate is 750 for 4 people and probably for all waterfalls, there are many. But they took 2500 from us and just showed us 1 waterfall and that too if we bargain others were asking 3500 to 6000, probably it was 1st Jan New Year so there was a lot of crowd and so they were charging extra. One of my friends said 1000 is enough if you probably go on normal days so if you have a Tamil speaking friend and are good at bargaining make sure you bargain well. There is an issue with food also, mostly you will find south food so if you are too into hygiene or not ready to eat the south meal like rasam rice etc, I will suggest eat before you visit.
