VIET:NOM - Vietnamese restaurant in Gurugram - Gurugram, India

Located at the popular Cyber Hub in Gurugram, this place serves Vietnamese cuisine. It's spacious with a nice ambience. We ordered Salmon & Avocado, Chicken & Chilli Dumplings and Lemongrass Tenderloin which was served with Rice Noodles. Taste was excellent especially the Tenderloin. Price is comparable to what one would expect in a place like Cyber Hub. Service was ok.

It's was a great experience. The ambience is very welcoming and charming. Amazing Authentic Vietnamese Food. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Servers are really nice and sweet.. menu is quite extended and so many dishes to try from when one is new to vietnamese cuisine. We tried 3 items and a drink, everything was nice and tasteful, had a great time . Its a busy place so reservations is recommended as per your time schedule. Ambiance is good as per theme not quite catchy. Good music playing all the time, but it could have been better with some themed music instead of all English music. Some portion sizes are a bit too little ; it would have been okay if it was a fine dine. I asked for extra chilli oil to enhance the taste as per our taste and it was a bang on, three other dips were served too and they all were good to try. And i would love to go again and try some more items of their menu.

My lunch at Viet Nom restaurant was fantastic! It's now my favorite place to eat because everything there was great. The food, the people who work there, and the atmosphere were all wonderful. The food was amazing. I had some delicious noodles, a tasty soup, and a really good pudding for dessert. Each dish was full of flavor and tasted just like authentic Vietnamese food. The pudding was the best part, it was so creamy and yummy. The people who work at Viet Nom were really nice and friendly. They helped me choose what to eat and made sure I had a great time. The only thing to keep in mind is that it's a bit expensive, but the taste and experience are totally worth it. Overall, I highly recommend Viet Nom restaurant. If you love Vietnamese food or just want to try something delicious, this place is a must-visit. Don't miss out on their awesome noodles, soup, and especially the pudding!

Amazing Vietnamese food, we had the chicken and chilly dimsum, prawn fresh summer rolls, charred pork ribs, chicken banh mi, hoi an chicken fried rice, and a fish curry, the name of which I forget. The food was delicious and the service was on point, each item was brought out as soon as we finished the previous dish. We also had a refreshing mocktail called summers in vietnom. The only disappointing thing was their Vietnamese cold coffee. The coffee used was fresh and tasty, but it was too watery and lacked the classic Vietnamese feel.

Took my SO here for her Birthday dinner today thinking it would be a really nice experience, instead, what followed was a series of events that left us disappointed. The restaurant has a nice charm to it with its lovely decor. Once we sat down we ordered the Vietnamese Chicken Sate Bao and a mocktail called Calmness. Bao is a pretty simple dish and I expected it to not take more than 20 minutes to be prepared. Even the mocktail we ordered was not complicated. However the food arrived after almost 45 minutes and the mocktail took another 5-10 minutes after the food. The bao was pretty simple but lacked any depth to its flavor. The accompanying lemongrass sauce was pretty one-dimensional as well. We then ordered the fried pomfret and the crispy spinach and chicken fried rice along with a virgin Pina Colada that was not on the menu. This was the worst mistake of our time here. For a price tag of 800, I expected at least a mid-sized white pomfret that two people could share but my hopes had as better chances of being true as the bland sauce that accompanied the fried fish. Having lived my life in coastal regions, my palate did not find comfort in this dish that seafood usually provides me. The crispy spinach and chicken fried rice was a Hit and Miss. The crispy spinach and the fried rice themselves were quite okay but the shredded chicken was too saucy and did not compliment the dish. Perhaps the most satisfying part of our dish was the Virgin Pina Colada that wasn't even on the menu. All this along with the extremely disorganised service marred our experience at this place. The servers were lovely but a kind smile does not take away all that went wrong here. We informed the management of this experience and they were sweet enough to give us their Pomelo mango sago dessert on the house. This was rather lovely and was good enough to save what was an extremely disappointing day. In the words of the great Reviewbrah, "My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined." I hope to visit here again for the Pho and the Bahm Mi, hoping my experience here today doesn't repeat.

We were welcomed with a smile, and we left with total satisfaction, hoping to return again. This was my family's first visit to Viet - Nom, and it turned out to be a good decision. Attractive ambience, delicious food with the flavor of distinct Vietnamese herbs. Pomelo Papaya Salad was very refreshing.... a must try. Chicken spring rolls were crispy and good. Stir-fried prawns in chilly tamarind curry... I recommend if you like prawns. We found Vietnamese chicken mango curry a bit too sweet, but then, may be that's how it is meant to taste. Service was very friendly.

Finally, I was able to visit this place. It's an amazing restaurant to try new Vietnamese dishes. The ambience is great and the service is good, with a polite and friendly staff. We decided to try a lot of different dishes, starting with pho. We ordered chicken pho, and it was delicious. The broth was light but flavourful. It is a perfect comfort food, very soothing. Next we tried fresh prawns summer roll. They were a little sweet but very refreshing. Also tried white rose dumpling, which was filled with mung beans. It was paired with a sweet chilli sauce. It was quite an interesting dish. Another dish we tried was rice puff skewers. It consisted of minced vegetables inside puffed rice covering. And was served in a form of a lollypop. It was crispy and fun to eat. For the dessert, we tried pomelo mango sago, which consisted of a mango cream with segments of pomelo fruit, topper with vanilla icecream. Pomelo was a little bitter, but it paired well with the sweet mango cream and vanilla icecream. For the drinks we tried their apple and pineapple kambuchas, fermented drinks with a pretty strong flavour. Overall, had a fun time trying different dishes. Pho being the favourite. Loved the place, would definitely visit it again.

The food was delicious, the drinks too. Didn't like the Panacotta much because the cinnamon overpowered the real taste. Service was good so was the ambience, the decor was minimal yet beautiful. I went on a weekend so was pretty crowded so you can expect some wait there, although way lesser than other famous places nearby.
