Banyan tree belongs to Vidyashankara Layout Park. Nice environment allow us to have fresh air and breath. Finally I would like to say Vidyashankara Layout is posh area in mysuru city.

It is a new area and there are very few houses here. You have woods and a small water body. Scenic beauty is there. Many kinds of birds visit this place all through the year.

This park is losing it's biodiversity because of the human interaction. Plastic wastes are everywhere. No maintenance at all. But. It can be revitalized and can be made as a beautiful and peaceful park

This is an almost 100 year old tree. The landowner has decided not to sell the plot where this tee stands as he wants the beautiful tree to live long. Thanks to him, the aalada Mara has become a landmark for the Vidyashankar layout.

No improvements are to be seen there.but very gud place for children to play if it is well maintained in future.

Lot of scope for development.

A nice place for nature lovers but corporation should concentrate on its cleanness
