One of the most Oldest Hospital in South Kolkata specially in Behala. Every one from children's to olders can go there with any type of injuries, diseases, or any type of problems. The doctor were very good and responsible. They behave so politely but you also need to have some patients because everyday there were more then thousands of sick people came up with various of cases and reach to hospital while having time in your hand also.

Honestly, Vidyasagar Hospital is much better than before. But how can the identity of the people of Kolkata be tarnished? Wherever there is a drink pick-up, dirty garbage is dumped on the hospital's streets. The doctor is fairly good. In a word, this Vidyasagar Hospital is a place of need.

Some doctors are very rude for patients and their families. Most nurses are very helpful Overall in an emergency case you can take your patient there but if you have the batter option please go there.

Vidyasagar Hospital is a government hospital so a lot of people come here for treatment. Staff members behaviour is rude sometimes, may be it is because they get frustrate while handling lots of people. Otherwise everything is ok. I would suggest if you or your loved ones want to admit here so you have to little bit patience because nurses aren't. The washrooms are clean frequently but it smells like hell, so last decision is your. Patients well treated here, otherwise if they can't, they refer to you another hospital.

The only government state general hospital in the area of Behala and surrounding area . Now is with multiple facilities . Nearly all departments are available here including the ayurvedic department ,they have a special well equipped emergency department ,and other unit of critical care and vasectomy centre , special tuberculosis department and fare price medicine shop ,the opd is open for Monday to Friday , the hospital is now almost cleaned and very well served . For outdoor one need to only have a ticket of just 2 rupees no other visit is required , some medicine are distributed in no cost in the hospital pharmacy. From the last few years this hospital turned up for giving better quality of medical treatment for poor and needy people and also for all. The best doctors are serving people. Now for the covid situation fever patient need to Cary their aadhar card for entry. This hospital is situated in the next stop of behala tram deport .

Very well managed, clean and hygienic hospital. The doctors and other medical staff is very professional and helpful. The infrastructure and amenities are not anything fancy but they are enough to provide best care to the patients. The visitors timings are strictly followed, so better plan accordingly if you wish to visit any patient. There is no space for parking in the campus, so its better to take public transport.

As usual like other government hospital but little bit clean compare to others government hospital.
