Vidhana Soudha view point is located in front (opposite) of the Vidhan Soudha. One can take full view of Vidhan Soudha from here. The area is wide and well maintained for the public. One of the gate of Cubbon park is nearby from here. One can visit there too. There are some food vendors selling eateries. Generally it's crowded in the evening and on weekends as many people came here to visit. If you want to visit in less/no crowd then go there in the morning. It's calming to take walk nearby this area. This place is also having "Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Station Vidhana Soudha" metro station. From here you can enjoy the Dravidian architecture style of the building and take lot of pictures. No entry inside Vidhana Soudha for general public. however one can enjoy the beauty of this gigantic architectural structure from the outside anytime.

The most beautiful assembly building I had ever seen! Visited on a Sunday, wasn't very crowded. There are street vendors selling things to eat! Just opposite to it Karnataka High court is situated! The metro and bus stop are just at the vidhan soudha building! Reaching there is easy! Once done visiting this,you can walk to cubbon park which is just adjacent!
Vidhan Soudha or legislative assembly of karnataka state is designed in Neo-Dravidian and some elements of Indo-saracenic style. Kengal Hanumanthaiah designed this building and construction was completed in 1956 under his guidance. Total area of is 60 acres and having four floor above ground and one floor below ground. Only roadside view is possible.
Vidhana Soudha View Point is the place exactly opposite to vidhana soudha where the people watch and enjoy the front elevated architectural beauty of the infrastructure. At the dawn, the view of this place is so awful and the people love to walk on the wide footpath, sit on the kerb walls, eating some peanut's, exchanging some friendly moments at the outset is very graceful.
Really wonderful. When i was a child, i had dreamt of visiting India and seen the beatiful Indian architecture. Finally, i got it at Vidhana Soudha. I came here as a foreigner. Everything is truly good to see. I was like in Bollywood movie. Eventhough i didn't come closer to the building, i have got a memorable moment from the view point area. The Indian people there were so friendly. They helped me much take my pics or only share the building. I love India
This is one of the admirable place you'll get to see in Bengaluru (Bangalore). This is a State legislative assembly building of Karnataka, one of the grand looking government building in India. It's alluring design makes every person enthralling. You can take metro (PURPLE LINE) and get down in Ambedkar stop Vidhana soudha. Looks Royal for some special events like National and State festivals. It is worth to watch this master piece. Also there is a park near to it called Cubbon park you can visit here also.
