A well maintained Heritage Building at Nagpur. A place of great importance to the City & the state of Maharashtra. It now has a light show every evening, thanks to the state government's initiative to enhance the beauty of this building by installing the Facade Lighting system and various lighting themes for various days.

Vidhan Bhavan is a historical building as well as winter session is also held here in the winter season where all the ministers of Maharashtra gather and many plans are made and many are cancelled.

The building was constructed in the Indo-Saracenic style and was inaugurated in 1937. The Vidhan Bhavan is a large, imposing building with a central dome and four turrets. The exterior is made of yellow sandstone and the interior is decorated with marble and wood. The building has a total of 110 rooms, including the chambers of the Speaker, the Leader of the Opposition, and the members of the Assembly. The Vidhan Bhavan is open to the public for tours. Wherever honorable governor of maharashtra state decides to commence winter session during the year. All members of legislative assembly came here for the discussion about their work done. Opposition members asks questions to the ruling party members and must have to give answers.
