VIAVARANASI a boutique hotel - Hotel in Varanasi - Varanasi, India

Stayed here for 4 days as i was shifting from another hotel and what caught my eye was its fantastic location so thought to give it a try. My stay was fantastic, the rooms had such lovely artwork, the beds were plush and comfy and there was an ante room as well! It was smack bang on assi ghat and this made it so easy to take long walks at the ghat. I would usually take a quick breakfast at their cafe downstairs which has some good coffee and i discovered this charming pizza restaurant close by as well. Having access to the ghats was brilliant and my stay overall was very comfortable. The staff was courteous and arranged cabs promptly when asked and even helped me plan my travels around assi ghat. Worth the money as the staff ensured I was comfortable and the location is just so convenient. I highly recommend sipping on a hot cuppa joe with a freshly prepared cake and watch the hustle bustle of the streets go about their day.

The room, was very nice. Great location. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. The bathroom needs a shower cabin. Great food and coffee.

Great location. Small hotel without a lobby. The key employee to solve any trouble you may have is Mr Manish, during day shift. He was not only helpful but also kind. I did not like the owner demand to pay the whole bill when check in, unusual in hospitality business

We would recommend this Hotel. The room was clean and trough the fact that there are two small rooms, very comfortable. We never tried breakfast or room service. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they always welcome you with a smile. Also the location is quite good. Beware, you are in the old city, and it will be all night long noisy from the street. Just use ear plugs.

As stated in other reviews, the hotel is NOT as depicted in the pictures. Upon our arrivals, our assigned room was unacceptably dirty (the bathroom was not cleaned at all), the towels were also dirty, and the main door was not closing (lock was not working). The present staff tried to help, but they were barely speaking english, so the full thing was pretty hard. We eventually got moved to another room, that was slightly cleaner, but still far from deserving the price we paid (7.5K per night) and from resembling the picture you can find online. We decided to leave after one night, and after some serious fight with a manager via phone (he was not there....) we end up having to still pay one extra night. I am not mentioning the noise, because I was aware that it was a risk booking in that location. But everything else (cleaning, staff, structure and services), are closer to an hostel than a 'boutique hotel'. Stay away from this. I doubt that the positive reviews are real, or if they are - are from people that paid a significant lower price OR visit the hotel when it was in a different condition.

Recently stayed here, the manager is quite sweet and helping, moved us to a bigger room upon request and also extended our checkout time to 12 PM. We paid 5K per night and stayed for 3 nights. Couple of drawbacks: - The washroom wasn't very clean and had a continuous smell, not sure why. - One of the taps was constantly leaking - The room has very limited and dim light, in the day it didn't matter but was sufficient at night - They do not allow food delivery from outside (zomato/Swiggy) and have room service only till 9:30 PM or so - The mini bar in the room was freezing everything instead of keeping it cool What we liked: - The hotel is located on the Main Street close to Assi ghat with good places to eat around - The staff was prompt to help for anything - They have a lift even with such a small property - Room size is decent with a small living area as a part of it

Very nice hotel and comfortable also. Close to Assi Ghat.
