Recently visited this hospital for my father in law who has gone to Bypass surgery in kamineni Hospital, Dr. VGR garu had took preventive measures and prescribed heart related medicines like blood thinner etc, but due to lack of proper knowledge of medicine he has to gone through bypass surgery, so my suggestion is that do not neglect doctors advice and take necessary precautions for prevention of heart attack. Overall Hospital is Good. Nice treatment, good care. Thanks to doctor VGR garu.

I visited my village on a vacation recently near Vijayawada. My health checkup was due for long after the pandemic. I knew VGR Diabetes Specialities Hospital for years and I keep hearing good feedback from my relatives who frequently visit there. I am aware that the hoplspital has comprehensive health check up program and decided to visit. Got before and after fasting routine blood and urine tests including echo, ecg, abdominal scan, eye check up with special forcus on 3.month average blood sugar levels and heart health. The echo was done by a doctor from Dr. Ramesh Hospitals. Pleased to meet Dr. VGR at the end to review the results and I was a bit anxious on my results. Luckily things weren't bad :-) He spent descent amount of time and his explanation was very simple and easy to understand. What I understood from him is once pre-diabetic condition is diagnosed, a complete preventention or postponing the diabetes by many years is very much possible by alerting the life style a little bit. Got to know the impacts of diabetes are wider leading to the damages in many organs like eyes, foot, kidneys, nervous system and heart etc. He does educate the patients which is very much essential and important on lifestyle management with ultra care rather just treating. Going forward, I would not only do my routine check ups, but also assess my pre-diabetic condition. Took a dietician consultation also laslty to plan the balanced and nutritious diet. Pretty impressed with the sophisticated lab equipment. Staff are very friendly. Also, Dr. VGR's continues effots towards public campaigns about diabetes awareness are commendable which keeps himself at very high level interms of his social responsibility. His vast experience treating large number of patients is unreplaceable. Dr.VGR presented me a "Diabetes Atlas" book written by himself. Written in both English and Telugu which is guide to anyone on diabetes management

Dr VG Reddy is outstanding, very involved with the patient care, he spent more than 30 minutes on my mother medical history. Went through every detail and suggested the treatment options. Management of DIABETES NOT ONLY NEEDS MEDICATION BUT ALSO GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF THE DISEASE. I am happy that Dr. VGR concentrates on both.
