Vetal Temple - Hindu temple in Chopdem - North Goa, India

Nice and quiet place of worship, been here and can vouch a peace of mind. The environment is so peaceful and calm, very rejuvenating to the self and for inner peace. Places of worship, and a must visit if in Goa. Not very popular with tourists but definitely big time hit among locals.

I happen to visit this place and there was festival celebration was going on. People used to brush cracker , I think this was part of tradition.

people involved in sea related businesses and activities visit this temple to seek blessings. people believe the primary deity shree vetal rules over the seas and protects them at all times.

The surrounding is peaceful. Calm and rejuvenating. Place for our ancestoral worshipping. Closed by Old ferry jetty or Siolim Chopdem Bridge end. Not much popular these days but was buzzing area before Bridge was built.

The gods that predate time and religion itself . Also checkout the vetal statues at the museum in old goa . This is as real as it gets .
